FOF (Anonymous) Survey #1: Marriage, Sex and Affairs

It’s always enlightening (and entertaining) to learn what other women in our generation are thinking and doing. Starting today, and each week going forward, FabOverFifty will ask members of our community a series of simple questions about pretty complex issues. We’ll run a thumbnail synopsis of the results the following week.

The survey questions seem to believe that no one over 50 is living with someone but not married…hmmm. I have been twice divorced (first reason: I wanted counseling, he realized he was a loner; second reason: he molested my daughter) and am working on having a healthy relationship with my current beau. Sexuality is more than intercourse, as well. Just some things on which to muse.

      Hello Lori,

We do believe a woman over 50 can live with someone and not be married. We just didn’t include that question in this survey.

Just a note that a widower is a man who has lost his wife. A widow is a woman who has lost her husband. I don’t think that many widowers would be answering this survey. 😉
