Body contouring is a general term that originally was used after liposuction became available as an important tool for reshaping the body. It involved the abdomen, the hips, the flanks, the thighs, arms etc. today the body contouring is even more advanced with fat grafting to enhance specific area like the buttocks, the calves and the breast when applicable. So you can see that it is a very general term and of course the cost is dependent on what needs to be done.

Body contouring may be performed on almost the entire body following weight loss. Procedures usuallly involve removal of the excess skin and liposuction may be an adjunctive procedure. During your consultation with your Surgeon, the fees will be discussed.

Today, plastic surgeons can improve the contour of virtually every part of the body — from the face and neck down to the ankles. Surgery can consist of liposuction alone or in combination with any number of skin tightening procedures, such as breast uplift, tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift, etc. Procedures will differ if the patient has had significant weight loss. Your age, general health and your skin’s elasticity will also impact on what can be done for you. In essence, you would require an extensive consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to explain all the possible options. And then, once you have decided upon a goal and a course of action, the fees would be discussed. Good luck!

Usually this refers to liposuction of excess fat in a part of your body that you do not like. It can also refer to surgery such as tummy tucks and breast lifts. We are not here to help you loose weight — but to recontour areas that are troublesome. The cost varies by how many areas are done and the surgeon. You need an In person consultation to know what would be best for you.
