Why do I need to be at my goal weight before plastic surgery? I don't feel with my frame that I would look good less than my goal weight. If I have 20 pounds of skin and fat removed, I know it would not suit me. I have lost over 100 pounds and would be looking at a tt, arm lift, leg lift butt lift and plenty of lipo.

All weight is relative to height and body shape. 20 lbs. can be very different in various individual. A consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon will best determine if surgery would be of benefit and safe at this time.

Our policy is for the patient to be within 20 pounds of their goal weight in order to obtain a satisfactory and result. Of course, a consultation is necessary since every patient is unique.

Typically we suggest patients be at their goal to obtain the optimal result. If you believe that you are within 20 pounds, a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon would be in order.
