Test This: Juara Turmeric Antioxidant Radiance Mask
————————————————————————————---------------------------------------—————
The Turmeric Antioxidant Radiance Mask (retail value $35) by Juara features the exotic spice as a key ingredient. Turmeric is most notably used in South Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines, however, women of these cultures also have a long history using the spice as an anti-ager. In Indonesia, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan, turmeric even plays a large role in bridal beatification ceremonies.

Is all the hype about turmeric--the secret beauty spice--legit or lore? The spice “maintains skin health by neutralizing toxins and fighting off free radical damage, a key cause of premature aging,” according to Juara, the manufacturers of the Turmeric Antioxidant Radiance Mask.

They claim that if you apply their turmeric mask to your face, just two to three times a week for 10 to 15 minutes this “instant pick me up...brightens complexion and evens out skin tone.”

Is this product all spice and everything nice? 6 FOFs will put it to the test. Leave a comment below for a chance to win.

I am not familiar with Juara products. You do have to wonder if by “brightening” they really mean “”turns your skin an odd yellow color”

I am constantly amazed at the concoctions that are mixed together by one company or another. We are guinea pigs to so many things. Having never found many cosmetic items that actually do what they say, I am always open to trying something new and crossing my fingers that this may be the one that works. If chosen, I will give you an honest opinion. Thanks~

More and more I am hearing about the use of tumeric on the face to help with circulation and radiance. It is wonderful that Juara has developed a ready-made formula that will beautify the skin and can be used multiple times weekly. Many celebrities are also quoted as using turmeric as their “secret weapon” for looking younger and adding a glow to their skin.

turmeric, has been used for thousands of years in the middle east, africa and asia for medicinal purposes.
It’s anti-inflammatory properties have been studied
    extensively.
I had a very severe reaction to poison ivy about 10 years ago, and found if I soaked the afflicted areas in turmeric and hot water, the inflammation decreased.

We use tumeric orally; Curcumall from Israel, available in the USA; as it helps my husband’s arthritis incredibly. (Curcumall does not cause the gastric distress some experience when taking tumeric capsules). There are numerous medical studies that document this that you can pull up by “Googling”. Also new studies on turmeric helping Alzheimer’s. It is a natural anti-inflamatory. (The only contraindication I know of to taking it orally is if you are on blood thinners, as it apparently also acts as a mild natural blood thinner.) I would ABSOLUTELY love to try this and write about the results! Tumeric rocks!!!
