It has been the hardest thing to maintain a color after paying so much to get it professionally colored. Hmm, the only thing that keeps my colour from fading or changing is washing it just once a week. I condition it all the time, but only use shampoo once a week. Also tends to keep it a little more hydrated if I do this. Jet

I’ve been coloring my hair since my late 20′s and I’ve been lucky enough to find the occasional good shampoo. However, it seems that once your hair acclimates to the shampoo it doesn’t work as well. I would love to try a shampoo that says it keeps your color fresh and your hair shiny and healthy looking! I would enjoy having that silky looking hair.
Despite the “color-protective” shampoo I currently use, if I wash my hair often enough for it to look fresh and bouncy, the color fades after only 3 weeks. I’d LOVE to try this product in the hopes of finding a solution, as it’s unhealthy for my hair to color it anywhere near that often.

Karon, you have to pay to join to test products…then you get to test 1 or 2 products a year…they will invite you for what you get to test…you can say “no thanks” but you can’t tell them what you’d like to test…But you must pay to join first. These are just giveaways. You put a comment and they will select a couple of people who “win” a sample of the product…
I hope I was clear Karon..I was rereading that and thought maybe not. You do NOT get to choose what you want to test. You can’t click on something and say “I want to test this”…that’s not how it works. You pay to join…then once or twice a year they will send you and email saying “would you like to test this?” You can refuse..and then they will later ask you again. But you don’t get asked for every product. There are too many people and not enough products I was told. So once you join it might be a few months before you hear anything (I think it was about 3 months for me) but I was just sent a moisturizer at first which wasn’t too good as I have oily skin and couldn’t really use that particular product. I didn’t know but I think I could have refused the product but I didn’t know that at first and I missed the email so they just sent it….BUT you can’t test anything until you PAY to join…
This is different. In this section you just leave a comment, or whatever they ask you to leave = it varies – and they will RANDOMLY select a couple of people to “WIN” the product….that’s different than the testers. Hope that helps.

Wouldn’t it be SUPER to have a shampoo that leaves color treated hair feeling as it does when first colored with the vibrant color and super soft feel and great column!.
The ones I have tried in the past made no decernable difference- they were fine shampoos but I never felt they helped with keeping the color nor id they leave it feeling as it does when just colored.

Been trying Wen product, doesn’t have sulfates which causes shampoos to lather, also keeps color from fading. Product pretty good, no fading on color yet, I guess I miss the lathing part. Always willing to try a new shampoo.
