One company claims its hand sanitizer does double duty–eliminating both germs and wrinkles in one fell spritz.
Renouve’s Anti-Aging Hand Sanitizer (retail value: $29 for 1 oz.) is formulated with bitter orange peel extract, which the company says works as a “disinfectant, preservative, antibacterial, fungicidal and antiseptic.” It also contains palmitoyl tripeptide-5, an ingredient it says “actively diminishes all types of wrinkles and has skin firming and moisturizing properties.”
“Volunteers using the anti-aging ingredient experienced a significant improvement when applied twice daily,” according to the company’s website. “Independent studies proved Renouve killed 99.9% of bacteria.”
Now, we’re handing it over to you to try–10 FOFs will test it.

I would like to test this product because I am constantly using hand sanitizer at work. I would in a public library and I get the job of counting all of those late fees which is mostly coins. I have two bottles of hand sanitizer on my desk and both have aloe to keep your hands from drying out but neither of these products work very well. I would like to find something that sanitizes but does not dry out your hands.

If this product works, it would be a dream come true for me. My hands have been aging prematurely since I am 15. I find that my skin tolerates hand sanitizer better than soap and water, so I use it frequently in the kitchen. However, even hand sanitizers irritate my skin to a degree. The opportunity to no longer choose between the lesser of two evils would be priceless!

I would love to test this as my hands have been through Hades, lol. And they have aged prematurely, starting in high school, washing dishes and scrubbing grills at a part-time job. They have been wrinkled ever since. As a nurse, day-care provider, and mother, they have become chronically dry to the point where they crack and bleed. I have a terrible time with my hands in the winter. I have tried every hand lotion purported to heal extremely dry hands and nothing works for more than an hour or two. Can’t stop washing them so while pricey, this may be a better solution than my next step which is a prescription lotion.

r u kidding. $30 an ounce? most people who use sanitizers regularly, say folks who work in a hospital or nursing home like I do, use it a LOT. I’d go through that in a week. who is your market?? someone who wants to use it as a novelty? 1x a week? that would defeat the whole purpose. at $30 an ounce, why not just use any sanitizer and buy a nice expensive hand cream that will last months.
