{Tested} Eminence Strawberry Rhubarb Masque

—————————————————————————————————

Eminence Organics skin products are about as “green” as you can get. Their average “ingredients” label reads more like a Whole Foods shopping list, with items such as blueberry oil, pumpkin seeds, pomegranate, cloves and rosemary–all sourced from organic, sustainable farms powered with wind and solar energy. Every Eminence product is free of common irritants such as parabens, animal by-products, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulphates, harmful colorants and fragrances and petroleum.

Eminence say that its Strawberry Rhubarb Masque (retail value: $52) will “hydrate, plump and replenish skin with juicy strawberries, calming rhubarb and restoring hyaluronic acid.” So what did our FOF testers think?

Quick take: 4/4 testers would recommend this product to other FOFs.

Did this product work for you?
Yes, the product worked for me. My skin was softer, less dry, smoother, and in general better feeling. It appeared to look better as well, although it is hard to tell after only two uses. I would be better qualified to talk about this after a couple of weeks.

What did you think of the fragrance?
Pleasant and not overwhelming.

Would you use it again?
Definitely. Since I like my skin to feel and look great, I believe this is a product that could help. I am in the sun quite a bit in the spring and summer and do use sunscreen. It will be interesting to see how it works then.

Would you recommend it to other FOF members?
Yes.

ALEXIS MARNEL

Did this product work for you?
My skin was softer, and I LOVED the fragrance, but I did not see much of a difference in my skin. Usually after a masque my skin looks very revitalized and refreshed, and although it felt that way, it didn’t do much for the appearance.

Would you use it again?
I do not think I would use it again.

Would you recommend it to other FOF members?
I would recommend this to FOF members whose skin problem is dry skin as that seems to be the target of this product, but if one is looking for some exfoliation or a better cleaning, I would not recommend it.

JOYE LABRUYERE

Did this product work for you?
Yes, I really liked the product, it smelled really nice, but I felt it was a little bit drying.

Would you use it again?
I would try it again in the summertime.

Would you recommend it to other FOF members?
Yes

RUTH JAMES

Did this product work for you?
I left this sitting on my kitchen counter for way too long because I was a bit hesitant about an organic product. Would it smell? Yes. Like strawberry ice cream. I washed my face, and just slathered it on–including around my eyes and on my lips. I have extremely sensitive skin, but this was of lovely creamy texture and did NOT burn! I left it on for about a half an hour while doing chores, and after I rinsed it off, my skin (and lips) felt sooo soft and smooth. There was no blotchiness or irritation–just soft smooth skin.

Would you use it again? Would you recommend it to others?
Yes! Two thumbs up, five stars. Where can I buy it?

Add me as a tester for this Strawberry Rhubarb Masque. The aroma would bring back fond memories of the best strawberry rhubard, that Nana Carle made while I was growing up.

And this masque would help to give me an outer glow as well.
