10April   {Test This} Mai Couture Papier Foundation

—————————————————————————————————

Mai Couture Makeup’s new Foundation Powder Papier (retail value: $24) comes in a pocket-sized booklet with 50 one-time-use sheets--ideal for makeup application and touch ups while you're on the go. The powder paper comes in three shades: fair glow, golden glow and nude glow. You don’t need a makeup brush, which, according to Mai Couture, “often carries bacteria that can irritate sensitive skin.” Instead, tear off a sheet, sweep it over your face and buff and smooth out the powder to finish.

The mineral-based powder is also paraben and talc free. “It softens the appearance of imperfections, evens out skin tone and controls oil without the mess.” Sounds good on paper...but what do you think FOFs?

10 FOFs will test it. Click here to find out more about Mai Couture Foundation Powder Papier, and then leave a comment below for a chance to test it.

Individual sheets of foundation just sound so smart-why didn’t I think of that? Would love to be a tester…

Would love to test this…I like anything that has the concept of “beauty on the go” – something I can carry in my dance bag and after I’m donew with class/rehearsal and have to go on to the next thing it would be great not to have to “waste time” putting on the full face and using this is a quick way to get ready, add gloss, mascara and go! Can’t wait to test this!

reading the description leaves me wondering if it actually foundation or just a powder to put over foundation. It reminds me of blotting papers

As a woman of a certain age and most definitely Fab over Fifty, finding a foundation that leaves one’s skin looking smooth and without variations in color is great. Would love to give it a try.

This sounds similar to Japanese rice powder sheets. I would love to try these as they come in tints. Also, not having to use a brush makes these extremely portable and extremely convenient.

This product is exactly what I have been wishing for. I often need to touch up my makeup during the day, and it is difficult to carry around a bottle of foundation and a big brush in my purse. This product would be so convenient to carry around with me wherever I go. Thanks for creating it.

I am always searching for a great foundation that is easy to use and works well. It is hard to believe that a foundation could be applied from a papier. I would love to test this out. This is right up my alley!!

This would take up little space in a purse and should not necessitate washing one’s hands after use. It could be the answer to a prayer. If it covers well and does not look like chalk, it may be just great. I’ll agree to try it if you will let me. Thanks…………………….!

Hmmm, I am up for anything! I have rosacea, and it’s dry and sensitive, I wonder if this is really something for a long term, as it says it is only for touch up. How long does it last? How often do you have to re-apply it? I am intrigued, and would really love to try this product! I see that they also have bronze and blush sheets, too. Very interesting product, indeed!

Would love to try it because, if it works, it would be fantastic for travel. The last time I traveled my foundation leaked. It was in a plastic bag so it didn’t touch my clothing but it was a mess and a newly purchased pricey foundation that was emptied by the time I reached my destination (top had been secured but it leaked out the pump).

A product this easy working on the skin of a 60 plus year old woman? I would love to try this out as my skin is imperfect as most skin is unless it’s air brushed, and we regular people don’t have that luxury. If it works, I would be one of it’s best spokespeople!! This would be a blessing!!
