Both books sound ABSOLUTELY fantastic, but I think I’d like to start with “It All Began in Monte Carlo” because although they might be stand-alone novels, I like reading books in the same order as the author wrote ‘em. I have several reasons I want to read this book. The first one is my husband spent a lot of time in Spain with the Navy Reserves and got a chance to visit Barcelona and has promised to take me there someday. When my sons were in high school we also had a Spanish exchange student for a year. We had a great time and got to learn first hand about Spain. He graciously invited our sons to visit Spain the following Christmas holiday and it was a visit for them of a lifetime.
Fortunately when Angel was living with us he got some great receipes from his mother for me so we can still enjoy the great tastes of Spain.

I would love to read From Barcelona with Love. My husband was in the Navy, both active duty during Vietnam and then the Navy Reserves. He spent a lot of time in Spain with the Navy (flew on P-3′s) and whenever he had a chance would grab a few crewmates, rent a car and drive around Spain.
He loved Barcelona and took some great pcitures there. He loved the history and architecutre and we would love to be able to visit there together someday.

I adore Advanced copies, so that is probably what I would like to read first. I love being able to read and then “recommend” an authors upcoming releases to my family and friends. There is nothing I love more than disappearing into the world of a really great authors imagination and then being able to share that world with others. Hard choice, I read each little excerpt twice, my choice is “It all began in Monte Carlo” this sounds like a book that will keep me intriged and also make me a part of the investigation. When a story from the beginning keeps me intrigued it becomes one of those books I can’t put down. Also, she is in the middle of a murder mystery and her friend Pru, love that name, trys to become an imature detective to help unwind this mystery. Both books each with a mystery of their own, when you litterally become part of that mystery and get to know each player is fun, I always try my best to get to know each player without trusting them completely, I do not trust Sunny Alvarez completely either. I hope I am one of the lucky winners, this already has me thinking about both plots and who is involved, yes, these sound very interesting, I love a great mystery, also I love putting myself in the middle of the murder mystery, I am still thinking of the outcome, I will end up reading both books, definatly story lines that just when you think you solved the mystery, suddenly something changes, that is to me a great mystery. This give-a way is awesome and I am ready to put myself in with all of the players, wishing everyone good luck.

The sultry sun was setting. Knowing he would arrive soon I could hardly sustain myself so I started reading……..It All Began in Monte Carlo. That would be a great read. I love a great book and would love to escape to Monte Carlo and I have an idea reading this would be just that escape.

I would have to go with From Barcelona, With Love for two reasons: 1. My great grandmother was from Barcelona, and I can’t wait to read Elizabeth’s descriptions about this beautiful city and 2. I’ve already read It All Began in Monte Carlo and LOVED it! Mac and Sunny are too adorable for words and their love affair is brilliantly portrayed against the backdrop of the south of France.

I went to Barcelona with my daughter a year and one half ago…it was so amazing, art, culture, food, history, beach, wine and so on? Casa Sargrada, Picasso museum, Gaudi, Gaudi, Gaudi, great transportation, dogs everywhere, even in the cafe’s, I can’t wait to go back even if just in a book!!!
