What we did:

FOF Beauty Bash (Sep. 29, 2012) and FOF Week (Sep. 30 - Oct. 6, 2012) were a week-long celebration exclusively for fab women over fifty. At Beauty Bash, FOFs gathered with the smartest, savviest and strongest players in the beauty, apparel and accessories businesses to get a first-hand beat on the products, procedures and people that keep us looking good. Then, for FOF Week, FOFs hit the streets of NYC where the shops, salons and specialists who love FOFs welcomed us with exclusive experiences, offers, gifts, services and seminars.

What FOFs experienced at the Beauty Bash:

- Watching Geri get an Ultherapy treatment from Dr. Rondi Walker of Washington D.C.
- Meeting with Essie Weingarten, the stylish and dynamic guru of nail polish, and hearing her advice about your best colors.
- Hair analysis by Kerastase experts, who "prescribed" the best in-salon treatments for FOF hair needs.
- One-on-one makeup tutorials with Lancôme celebrity makeup artist, Sandy Linter.
- Mini facials and skin advice, courtesy of Clarisonic's expert aestheticians.
- Skin health and texture consults, courtesy of SkinCeuticals, with Dr. Jennifer McGregor and Dr. Ann Chapas, leading NYC dermatologists.

- A fashion show featuring the spectacular apparel from designer Marla Wynne, who really knows how to flatter FOFs. 
- Meeting brilliant photographer, Ari Seth Cohen, and six of the dynamic, show-stopping women featured in Advanced Style, his new must-have book.
- Expert bra-fittings and exclusive discounts from LeMystere and Linda The Bra Lady. 
- Private hair consultations with Elline Surianello, the founder of LeMetric Beauty Studio, who knows more about the problems of FOF hair--and how to remedy them--than anyone on the planet. Plus skin mapping, hand reflexology and glycolic peels.
