• What makes Dustin David Salon special?
  • We focus on the hair’s natural texture to determine how to style it. We closely analyze the shape of the face, the client’s lifestyle, skin tone and eye color when suggesting styling options. Also, our salon is a team environment. The level of service is always controlled and quality is always a priority. We offer a training program, which allows us to set prices that cater to any budget. Continued education is an important part of our training for our stylists, to help keep them up on styles and trends.
• Define your customer.
  • Our customers make up a wide demographic, from fifteen and up to those “fab over fifties.” The majority of our clients color their hair on a consistent basis, so we pay close attention to any texture changes that may occur from years of processing.
• What product lines do you carry?
  • Kérastase, Bumble and Bumble, and Goldwell Color.
• What unique services do you offer apart from the standard cut/color/blowout?
  • All our services begin with a one-on-one consultation, where the stylist listens carefully to the needs of the client, and offers suggestions based on the individual’s lifestyle, likes and dislikes. After your precision haircut or color service, you will receive our most popular service, the “signature blow dry.” With products that are specifically prescribed for your hair needs, the blow dry will leave you with bouncing hair and a new confidence. We also offer straightening services, texturing/waving services, special occasion updos, hair and scalp treatments, and makeup services.
• What's your most popular treatment?
  • The Keratin Smoothing Treatment. It removes 95 percent of the frizz, helps mend your ends, and adds extreme shine and manageability. It has no harsh chemicals and takes a relatively short amount of time. It lasts four months and is popular for clients who are graying because gray hair has such a different texture and this treatment is effective in softening the hair, making you look years younger.
• Is there a fabulous treatment that you offer that you wish more women tried?
  • Women should try extensions and re-texturing services such as Smooth Control, Keratin Smoothing Treatment and Thermal Reconditioning. Extensions can thicken hair, making you look younger and giving you confidence. Retexturing makes the hair easier to style so you look better in less time.
