Red Horse Mountain

His fiance would be jealous of his finance!

How wonderful that you found someone to love again. My husband and I were married for 38 years when he died of pancreatic cancer. He was such a wonderful man. I hope someday to be lucky enough to try again, but I just don't think I could love someone like that again. Reading your story give me hope. Thank you.

This year has been a very tough year for my husbaand and I he was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. He was operated on in April and today he went for his blood test and they were zero. After being married for 50 years this would be the icing on the cake......

My adoring husband Richard. We have our first wedding coming up. Our middle daughter will be getting married in June. This would give us some alone time before all the wedding stuff starts happening.
We will be the true city slickers. The daily adventures sound amazing. So much fun. This could be the honeymoon we've always dreamed of. Horseback riding kayaking and all those candle light dinners. I can't wait. I have archery in my bucket list. Visiting Idaho also in my bucket list. So much fun. I hope I win. Thanks, Pamm

Dang it! That should have read 'Outlaw Annie' : )

since my husband hates horses and the great outdoors, I'd bring my mom with me- not very romantic but it would be a fun trip

If I won this trip, I would bring my wonderful husband. We just celebrated 33 years of marriage and we haven't actually been able to ever celebrate an anniversary with a trip. My husband recently had to retire on disability and has had one knee replaced in April with another one scheduled. He has always been the "rock" in our family and has supported me with love as we dealt with our sons three tours of Iraq. He has worked so hard all of his life to support our family, I would love to surprise him with a gift like the one you are giving away. I would love to give back something to him for all his support and love over the years. He has a great heart and is a wonderful man.

Love it! I always wanted to go to a dude ranch!

I would bring my Husband we have beem Married for 33 yrs never had a Proper wedding or Honeymoon for that matter. It be ever so Romantic .My Husband loves Horses used to have them when he was a child and the wine tasting would be my thing .We would so love this trip We could not afford anything like this in this Economy thats for sure .Would be like the Honeymoon we never had

A wine tasting getaway in the Rocky mountains of Idaho with my husband sounds truly delightful!

I would bring my fiance who just asked me to marry him on august 10.

I would bring my main dude, my husband. One daughter is off living in Costa Rica, one now teaching in Vermont, one getting ready for culinary school and a son going into high school, what a welcome retreat!

This is a dream vacation for us as it is sooooooo U.S.A. at it's finest. I would bring my husband who has been in Afghanistan for the past 2 years who would appreciate the "green", wine (no alcohol there), and the best way I can think of to celebrate our love for each other.

my daughter

I'd bring John for a romantic interlude with wine, mountain air and quiet gourmet meals.

I'd would bring HB, my wonderful boyfriend.

My wonderful husband!

Well, I better bring my husband.

My husband Jeff, of course!

my hubby of 37 years would be the only one I could think of taking with me on such a romantic vacation.........

My husband-of course-whom I adore......

A young man who is my heart's desire...and my best friend.

I'd invite my husband, son, and daughter to make a case for being the one to come with me.

My husband and I will be celebrating 32 years of marriage in September, this is an exciting time for us because my husband is a heart transplant patient and was given the gift of life through a heart donation. We celebrate life daily taking in any time we have together. This experience has changed our life and our way of thinking. This trip would give us a special get away that we could celebrate a renewal of good things to come. It is a difficult road with continued rigorous testing and a life long trail of medications but it is worth having him here to share life and continue to build memories together. This trip would give him the opportunity to sample a piece life as it is meant to be. A place where we could reconnect without any stresses and enjoy each others company. It will be ideal to have him whisper with his silly smile" You are lucky gal" you know, "I have not loved you just with one heart but with two!

Thank you for your consideration.

I would bring my Husband of thirty years. We have been apart this summer due to work. I would love to have a chance for connection. Also I adore Idaho such a amazing state.

my wonderful husband... we've been through a lot in the past 4 years, my breast cancer diagnosis. ill parents and the death of my father.last year.. in july we came home after 1 night of a 3 day mini anniversary vacation, bacuase my mom was rushed to the hospital in cardiac distress.she's doing well now and she keeps telling us to take a break. visiting daily is difficult. she's love this trio for us.

My sweetheart of 21 years.

a friend who i'd like to get to know better.....

My husband would love to pretend to be a cowboy!

My Cowpoke husband of course!

My cowpoke husband !!

My wonderful husband of 14 years!!!

My wonderful husband.

I would bring my man Van! I've known him since kindergarten (and it wasn't always lovey-dovey, I stabbed him with a pencil in third grade), and we reconnected last summer through FACEBOOK! Hard to believe, but totally true! We're both divorced, living in different states, but we fly back and forth each month. We are both in our fifties now, and having a ball enjoying each other's company. And we owe it all to Facebook!

a coworker

I'd bring my husband as we are newlyweds and we haven't had a honeymoon. We met at work over 40 years ago and just reconnected last year on Facebook!

My dearest friend.

Ned, he's my buddy, and my husband - what a ball we'd have! Oh please pick me!!!!

Probably a long time friend

I would take my best friend, my husband.

I would bring my country boy. I'm from Boston and my husband is from the hills of PA. We love wine so this retreat would fit us to a T.

My Husband. We have been married for 32 years and never really had a honeymoon.

My hubby. We have had a lot go on over the past few years. He lost his job, moved to another state (without me). We sold our house, of 4 years, at a huge loss and resorted in living in an RV for awhile. Two kids got married during my husbands start in SC. I moved down there with him and live in a apartment with two dogs and our DH son. We are currently purchasing a home with an apple orchard. A lot in two years time, we need a break.

My best buddy, my hubby of 38 years who would love this getaway!!

yee ha.... I'd bring my hubby from Texas! (and my paints to relax) :)

my wonderful, adventurous sister (without the romance of course :-).

My daughter, lol. It would be awesome to be able to get away with her and spend some mother/daughter time without the Grandbaby and her brothers either.

I would bring my wonderful husband. We have been through some difficult times over the last 6 months--some health problems, moving my son with severe disabilities to an adult living facility. He has been so supportive and great through everything as he always has been for the last 21 years. We would love to spend some special time together.

A very special lady & my best friend

Uh, well....my Golden Retreiver!

One lucky FOF will win! To enter, answer in the comments below:

We get along real well, and are both in pretty much the same financial situation - about to lose our homes because we don't have the income we had when they were alive. "I would bring my boyfriend who is the first guy that I found that loves horses almost as much as I do...and ladies who share my passion for horses know that this is something hard to find. I also would bring him because he is "the one" yes this sounds cheesy but I knew from the moment he hugged me that something was different. It wasn't something I felt in my heart, which is something that has confused me before, it was the uncontrollable shaking I felt for hours after our first date. Life won't be easy with this guy. He is an Iraq vet and there is talk that his unit might deploy in 2012 for Afghanistan, which I fully support but I can't lie, it's going to be hard. He is also divorced and has a little one. She is three and her name is Violet and she is PERFECT. Him being a Dad is isn't a bad thing at all, more in my eyes a blessing because when I was little I had cancer and there is a possibility I won't be able to have kids I'm just too chicken to go to the doctor and find out for sure. I don't think at 26 I can live with that fact. So his daughter is a blessing but I am not naive to the fact that being a stepmom will be hard. So long story short. I would bring him. Not only to spend time with him but to share something we feel so passionate about. Horses. :-)"

"Who else but my very own Rocky Mountain man, my brand new husband of almost three months! Because of super tight budget and work demands, we really haven't had a honeymoon or vacation to speak of. This would be absolutely incredible. He'd had a bad divorce and I was widowed prior to our finding each other. This would be a great way to celebrate. Thanks for the offer."

We have had a real struggle the past few years trying to keep our family whole. The stress does take a toll, and this vacation would be a wonderful opportunity for us physically and mentally. "

"My adoring husband Richard. Thanks, Pamm"

Tis a dilemma! I am an optimist, however, and if I were lucky enough to win, I know I could find someone to go with me, even though not a "romantic" partner! I have never been west of the Mississippi, and want so much to see more of our beautiful country. This would be a great chance! At 68, my shoulder is still at the wheel doing substitute teaching, so I have had little opportunity for travel."

It may not be very romantic to travel with a girlfriend, but when you're a single lady, you learn never to deny yourself the luxuries in life just because there's not a man in your life to enjoy them with. If I avoided all things "romantic" because I'm single, my life would be a lot less rich. I think this is a trip that the two of us could really relish."

We always love out doors and tried to get away when we could, but between paying student loans and bills, it's hard to go away and weather the wilderness. This romantic retreat, would definitely rekindle our love, lives, soul and above all our love for nature. "I would bring my wonderful husband. We have been through some difficult times over the last 6 months--some health problems, moving my son with severe disabilities to an adult living facility. He has been so supportive and great through everything as he always has been for the last 21 years. We would love to spend some special time together."

"My hubby. A lot in two years time, we need a break."

"I would bring my man Van! And we owe it all to Facebook!"

"My husband and I will be celebrating 32 years of marriage in September, this is an exciting time for us because my husband is a heart transplant patient and was given the gift of life through a heart donation. "

"If I won this trip, I would bring my wonderful husband. "
