I’m sorry, because I suppose these celebrities deserve to have some privacy in their swimsuits. However, if they even think they are going to be photographed, then keep those bodies (even trim ones) out of the unflattering teeny bikinis. The un-tanned parts overwhelm the trimness of some and others overhang parts that shouldn’t be seen at this age.
Even if one is confident about her body, when one is over 55, choosing the right bathing suit is tricky when going to the public beach. On your own private beach, you can go naked if you want. Nigella Lawson should just avoid going to the beach if she is allergic to the sun instead of wearing that hideous burkini. Why she bothered covered up in the ridiculous get up is beyond many of us. Angelica Houston should not be seen wearing this particular bikini because she looks unattractive in it, especially if there are so many bathing suits available out there that are far more complimentary to her body type for her to choose. The best for over 50 and 60, is Helen Mirren and she is the oldest of the group of women. She looks absolutely great and sexy in her chosen two piece bathing suit. I

These are brave women to be swimming in bikinis. Fair complected people do not tan, but we like to swim anyway. Who says you have to tan until your skin looks like leather to enjoy swimming?
Helen Mirren looks GREAT in her 2-piece – gorgeous curves. Julianne Moore looks like she has on white powder: her skin has never seen the sunshine or the light in this photo simply rots… As for Janice Dickinson, You Go Girl! A little “paint and body work” looks good on everyone; you would spiff up a CAR that was 50+ years old, why not yourself? I concur with her philosoply entirely – lifted breasts and lipo’ed tummies look oh-so-much better than sag and bag! It’s like going without any makeup – you look so much better with it than without!!

Gosh, I don’t mean to be age chauvanistic but most ladies over 25 shouldn’t wear bininis! I mean much of what we end up with should be judiciously covered—that’s just a fact of life. Many of the women pictured are either too skinny or too fat to be spilling that much onto the scenery. Helen Mirren is the only exception. OMG! If I looked like that I’d live in a bikini! I don’t. And I wouldn’t.

Helen Mirren is hands down the best of the bunch–she’s real and beautifully curvy! The others? Except for plastic Janice, wet dress Goldie, and bizarre Nigella, they’re wearing really ugly bikinis. My advice–next time, try the suits on in a lighted dressing room that has a three-way mirror!
I think Helen Mirren looks fabulous………….much better than many women years her junior. Some can pull off the bikini after 50………most cannot. But then, many cannot wear a bikini and actually look good even at 30. It takes a good, really good body to look hot in a bikini.
