When FOF Tweetie White turned 60 this past March, her daughter and friends thew her a surprise birthday party.
"I was totally shocked," says Tweetie. "Walking through the door and seeing the faces of so many dear friends and family, some who traveled a great distance, is an image that will be in my mind and my heart forever. Every detail was thoughtful and perfect."

Those thoughtful details included custom cupcake toppers, koozies, stickers for soup cups, and a sign-in board and invitations with vintage photos of Tweetie as a high school cheerleader. All of it was created by
Nico and Lala, a Nashville-based design company that specializes in event branding, favors, gifts and custom invitations and stationery.
Company founders Nico and Lala, also known as Nicole Speake and Lauren Staley, met working in a Nashville gift shop. Their dream of starting their own custom party branding and gift company came true in 2009 when they launched
Nico and Lala. Initial business came from local event planners, but in two years they've expanded nationwide thanks to word-of-mouth. They've recently launched a line of lucite gift items based on their most popular stationery and invitation designs.
"Our designs are creative, Southern and swanky," says Lauren. "That's what people know us for."

I love to write notes Love this site
I like writing thank you notes…it’s so much more personal to receive a hand written note and it emphasizes the sincerity of the message.
Live is in the fast lane today – text, e-mails, twitters and tweets. None of these are solid and sustainable. In 20 of 30 years time, how many people can sit down with an e-mail or text and read the kind words written by a loved one? It has always been a pleasure for me to send and also receive written correspondence – it is also a social history. A letter is like a hand-made present – someone has taken the time to sit down and compose at leisure their thoughts and kind words – long many it continue!
I don’t mind writing thank-you cards.
A pleasure.
Call me old fashioned but I like hand written notes. I feel that if your friends and family have taken the time to show you how special you are; then you should give something of yourself in return. What better way than a personal note from you.
A hand written note is a pleasure, that everyone enjoys getting in the mail.
Thank you notes are a pleasure, because I love telling that person how special and dearing the gift was.
Honestly, it can sometimes be a chore, however once you start writting the note of thanks, you realize how appreciative you are of the gift and thoughtfulness of the giver.

OH!!! I have a huge favor…I am so excited to be hniostg this week’s Roundup!!! But, I need some Help!! I was wondering if you could talk me through posting a linky (I have not done that before) and also, if you now how to do the link up that everyone can post an image, I really would like to do that!We are going out of town this Friday, so hope to have my post ready to roll! Yikes! I am so behind the power curve! Blessings & Aloha!mgbotelho21@gmail.com
Since receiving a hand-written note means so much to me, I am trying harder to do as my Mom taught me and write personal notes to others. Having nice stationary would enhance these notes for me and the recipient.
Writing thank you notes is a pleasure! Most definitely.

I ran into this web site mistakenly, rklareabmy, this really is a great site. The site owner offers completed a great profession of placing this with each other, the data the following is actually and useful after i perform evaluation. Now i’m about to save our planet broad internet web site to ensure that I’m able to revisit inside the long term.
It’s a pleasure! When I’m writing, it takes me back to the visit, dinner or whatever – & helps me remember details from that time. But I think this has become almost a “lost art” because I don’t see as many people doing this as when I was younger. I taught my children to do this, & 1 does & the other doesn’t – so go figure!!!
Thank you notes are a lost art – which I strive to keep alive. I enjoy sending them as much as receiving them. I hope I’ve instilled this little ‘niceity’ in both of my daughters. Showing a little appreciation can really make someone’s day
It’s absolutely a pleasure and absolutely a must! It means so much more than an email or text message!
