Lisa Hoffman (wife of actor Dustin Hoffman) uses Japanese Agarwood as the centerpiece for one of her 2-vial collection (retail value: $52) which includes morning and evening scents. The Japanese Agarwood essence is intensified with bergamot and spiced ginger, creating a scent the website says, “inspire(s) feelings of clarity and warmth.” What did our FOF testers think? Did this perfume make them feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Neither the scent for day or evening appealed to me. I used the daytime and evening alone and then decided to mix them, but they gave me a slight headache. It was very strong. The scent is not for me. I definitely would not wear it again.
However, the packaging was unique, practical and eye catching. The satchel is great for a purse or even a pocket.

I usually don't wear perfume because it gives me a headache, but this didn't. The day fragrance was light, but warm with a rich undertone. The night fragrance was a deeper, more sensuous version of the day scent, which I really liked.

I can't put my finger on it, but there is something about the Japanese Agarwood fragrances that lift my spirit. It’s so crisp and fresh, when I smelled this, I was sent reeling back to the 70s when I was a wild, carefree, hitchhiking young woman. Those were the days I wore handkerchief halter tops and bell-bottom blue jeans with frayed hems and sensuality was the norm! I wear it every day and night.

It came in such a beautiful package and I love the case. I tried both the morning and evening versions as well as mixing them together. It is a little bit heavy for my taste. I prefer something a little lighter and sweeter smelling.

I could not stand it! Both the day and night fragrances [made me] smell like an old man. I asked others what they thought. My sister said it smelled like my dad who has been dead 10+ years and wore too much Polo aftershave.

I have been living in the desert for nearly 14 years. The dry climate, heat and Sun can really take a toll on my skin. I wear sunscreen, eat right, wear hats. This product sounds fantastic! I am always looking for serums and face treatments that can help with lines and wrinkles, firmness and tone, and more recently age spots. I am a skincare and beauty junkie and I am always on the lookout for new and innovative formulas that are particularly effective for their anti aging properties. I’m always researching new ingredients and technology that’s either in the testing phase or just released on the market. If a product is effective in diminishing wrinkles, fine lines, improves elasticity of the skin, tightening of the facial skin, giving one a more youthful appearance, then to me, it’s worth it’s weight in gold and I would be willing to pay a premium price for the product. To me, if you look good then you have more confidence and feel better about facing the world. As a single woman, looking my best is particularly important but even if married, I would always still want to retain my youthfulness for as long as I possibly can. I would much prefer to pay more money for skincare products that work extremely well in restoring one’s youthfullness than undergoing any surgical procedure or subject myself to fillers. I would love the opportunity to test and review this product, sharing my experience and results with the rest of the Fabover50 community.

I cannot afford to buy these products but my skin is in dire need of help.
I would be so priveledged to test this product as I have hyper pigmentation on my cheeks due to cancer medicine methotrexate and others for the last two years. Sometimes in the midst of going through my twice a day multiple medication regiment I get down. The one thing that lifts my spirit is to put on my make-up and make myself look nice to get out of the house to go for a little shopping therapy. A product that would remove or lighten these dark splotches or reduce fine lines would really help improve my daily fear of looking in the mirror and asking myself “who is this person, it can’t be me” If a woman perceives that she looks good it raises her “happy hormones” in turn it promotes an over-all feeling of well being. I really need that right now.

Omg gosh this is so needed, would be so excited to be able to try and give feedback, I on the norm will be the tester for friends and family and this is one product ,well very excited to think I even have a chance . I hate to say I’m a little vain because of some of my wrinkles that I hate even getting my pictures taken, I swear that’s all you see when you look at them, I beg hubby to let me do Botox, the problem there is, it isn’t something I could afford to keep up with how our economy is, he would let me do it once, but would hate the tease and find myself even more depressed. goodness I could go on and on how I would love to give this a try, much cheaper to maintain if it’s a keeper.
I tried this product as suggested and didn’t see any improvement or difference at all. Plus it didn’t feel right on my skin.
