Argan oil--an extract from the kernels of the argan tree--is known in Morocco as “liquid gold” for its healing, conditioning and anti-aging properties. “There are few-to-no formal studies proving a measurable effect of argan oil on skin health,” says Dr. Jessica Krant, a NYC-based dermatologist. “However, the promise is great--it contains vitamin E, many essential fatty acids, and other antioxidants.”

Josie Maran Argan Balm (retail value: $42) to the test. The balm is made of shea butter infused with Argan oil, and“creates a protective barrier to seal in hydration and leaves the skin softer and more supple,” according to the
Josie Maran website. The company claims distressed skin will be relieved “instantly,” and also suggest using it on unruly cuticles, dry feet and frizzy hair.

I LOVE Josie Maran Argan Balm! In fact I love all her produces I’ve tried. A little goes a long way. I live in Michigan and even though we have had a lighter winter than most years this has made a big difference on my skin. My 15 year old daughter loves this and all Josie Maran’s products too! I would love to review and test any of Josie Maran’s products. Love the pure and natural ingredients.
Just started using Argan oil on the tips of my hair and lightly over all. Am a lip balm and hand lotion fanatic – always looking for the product that will help with dryness! Have also heard good things about this product line, so would be interested to test.

Cuticles! Feet! I would so love to try this product on those areas, especially as I’m already of big fan of using Josie’s Argan Oil on my face.
I would love to test this product! Have heard about Josie Maran’s products, but have not tried yet, I am in the medical field and have to wash my hands continuously and they are chapped beyond belief! Maybe this is just what my poor hands are “calling out” for.
