What a pleasure to see beautiful and creative pieces that are affordable. I am so tired of seeing lovely jewelry and finding that the price is “only $2,500″. That is so unrealistic for me and 90% of the population. The offerings so far on faboverfifty have not only been stylish but they have been within my budget. Even the magazines geared towards teens such as Allure have items that are way beyond budget. Also, to my dismay most of the jewelry and other items in Ophra’s favorite things are not within my means. So congrats to faboverfifty for staying real.

Thanks for these suggestions. I have several nice necklaces that I rarely wear. Now I’m willing to pull them out and let them help me make a statement!

I like a lot of them – sometimes costume or casual jewelry can make a bigger statement than going the uber expensive route.

As I have gotten older, I find myself wearing more chunky pendants and multi-strand bead necklaces. I like the way they can transform a ho hum blouse or sweater or even a plain dress into a fashion statement.

The green beaded necklace is an outstanding piece. It has so many possibilities- and the colors are my favorite.

I like most of these necklaces. Plus it is nice to see that the selection really does include items that will fit into any budget. I hate it when you read an article that show a luxury item for $1000 and a “affordable” version of the item for $400.
