The 60′s had an explosion of music with the Monkees which we sang loudly walking home from school with arms linked together. I remember the wild geometrics and bold floral patterns in clothes and home goods. This also was the start of layering clothes. At school the dress code for guys was no T-shirts. And for girls, pants suits with the top at fingertip length so it was more like wearing a shortish dress or tunic. Tights in the winter along with stirrup pants and jodphurs were in.
