I am not sure what happened with this message but it repeated some of what I said :( sorry

I don't know why my post has weird symbols. I wrote it elsewhere and copied and pasted. When I read it here it didn't have any of them. Weird. Sorry about how hard it is to read it. :(

The good quality ones will as well offer free of charge shipping, and if you call for to revisit your footwear return shipping is open too.http://www.garageshoes.co.uk/

I need a Dressing Your Truth makeover to experience my own unique beauty to the very fullest, and to find out all the different ways DYT can help me bring out my natural beauty, and support my natural Energy. Learning more about DYT will also help me to offer better support to my friends of the same Energy Type (Type 1!).

A new makeover for a newer evolved me. My husband died of cancer 2 years ago of cancer. I had totally neglected myself as his primary caregiver and for a year after his death as I drowned in the grief. I moved from Florida to Ohio to be back home to be with family and friends to figure out my next "step" in life. It turns out part of my future followed me. I am moving to a new state, to a new home with my new love with a new perspective. I'm evolving into the next chapter of my life and a new makeover will simply reflect the changes that continue to occur within...

I need a dressing your truth makeover, because as much as I want to the money to join has not showed up for me yet. I believe this is my chance for a lifechanging experience to present itself in my life. Having two children with Autism and suffering with chronic pain are challenges, but I have endured with joy and happiness. I feel the fun and excitement of taking the online course, and shopping would just add to the happiness I feel and make this summer a little cooler! I am so excited to win this!

my clothe are icky

My colors have changed more than my clothes. I could use a tune-up

I have a lot of clothes, but rarely wear all of them. Want and need to pair down to what really makes me look awesome.

Because I'm older, but still myself. My inclination is rather boho. It is hard to find a style that is age-appropriate, but not frumpy or pastel or just not me.

I never get new clothes because there are so many in the family that I want to look nice. I try to be content with GS clothes and cheap ill fitting.

I just had my knee replaced and I am feeling kind of down and not attractive at all. This makeover would be a great pick me up to start the summer off with to make me feel prettier!

I see pieces that I love and don't know what I would wear them with!

I have really let myself go since my fiance died in 2007...it is time to get my life back together!

I'm already a Dressing Your Truth member, so I would like a makeover for someone else. She is coming out of prison soon with one set of clothes donated to the prison. She is sort of an "accidental tourist" to the prison system due to a miscarriage of justice, but she has used the experience to mature, learn some lessons and become a heart-centered, lovely person. She discovered what she wants to do with her life and plans to return to school to get the education to achieve her goals. I would love for her to get a DYT makeover to launch her new life.

My daughter thinks I dress too young for my age... but then again she doesn't want me to dress like a grandma either. I need help to dress appropriately yet flatter and show my personality.

I'm feeling old, just got a serious medical diagnosis, need cheering up.

At 51, I've started a new professional job. I would like to have a more put together look to go with my more put together life.

I need my true colors to shine on and within me.

I am turning 55 this year & I want to add some pizzazz by dressing in a style that fits my looks & personality.

I am in a delima. So many fashions are to young, but I don't want to look like a fuddy duddy.

I would appreciate the feedback from the experts.
Keep an open mind!

I need a Dressing Your Truth so I can finally find the real me...and it's about time too! I joined the ranks of the unemployed 14 months ago and desperately want to break out, so this would be just the thing to help me get my confidence back.

I am going to be 52 and am just feeling so blah lately, would love and could really use a makeover~

At 51, it's hard to dress age appropriately and not look like a 'teenager wanna-be' or one of my mother's bridge friends. Sometime I think my hair looks like Sally Fields football helmet hair in Steel Magnolia. How do you stay stylish, not age yourself (old or young) and look your best? That's why I am interested in this makeover !

I think I need more color in my attire but am not sure which ones are best for me.

Age, body changes, life changes and a closet that has only black loose pants with maybe 8 tops, 1 black dress, and 2 pairs of black shoes. A well worn red bag and that's it folks. I've gone shopping many times, tried on 50 pieces in one shopping trip, still walked out with zip. It's time to admit that I can't dress this 58 year old body. As a Project Coordinator with a large telehealth company, and a Coach in Self Expression Leadership Program, I need a style that speaks fun, yoga, professional, and comfort. Can you help me?
Thanks, Jaye Lynne

I've been working out of my house for 5 years now, I confess my "uniform" is now jeans and a T-shirt in the cool months and a T-shirt and short in the warm months. This look communicates "I don't care" to the world and I really do - but I just can't get myself out of this rut

I tend to stick to 3 basic colors. Would love to try new colors & styles.

I need new, fresh ideas on how to look my best.

I want to be stylish, I want to dress for my age without becoming frumpy, I want clothes that flatter my body type, my personality and my flair!

I just need to find me again. Be proud and confident.

Menopause and being sad all the time are my reflective colors.... I need unshine in my life...I want colors to be a reflection of me!

Because I would love to up-date my style an look appropriate for my age (48)

Wardrobe makeover that works for both auditions & job interviews!

i am in a rutt..same old, same old...i am ready for a change. thank you.

Until about 2 years ago I got up every morning and got dressed for work. Now I stay at home to take care of my aging Mom, not to mention my 16 year old step son came to live with us. I have kind of gotten lost in the shuffle!

It has been so long since I actually chose a style. I could really use an update for work and casual!

It has been so long since I even dressed up I would feel like a princess.

I have absolutely no idea how to dress as a sixty-something adult. I still want to be a twenty-something and dress provocatively. Sorely need your guidance - and your money!!

I thought I knew my "truth" but I think it's changed as my children have grown and grand children have come on the scene. I need to "rediscover me"!

Because shopping is so confusing!

Because shopping is so confusing!

I need a do over.

New Year, New Season, New Me!!!

I am cleaning out my closet with 40 years of stuff (couldn't bear to part with things "I might wear again...") and trying to change my image. This would be such a great opportunity for me.

time for a change

I love all types of clothes and colors, however I'm not 5"10" and 100 pounds...now that I'm fof I really should get some help!

Because I am set in my ways, hate change and my 40th reunion is in June.....

One lucky FOF will win! To enter:

"I have just seperated from a very controlling, very verbal abusive and violent relationship of 28 years. After being told noone would want me and i would and could never make it on my own, I have never been single up till the age of 18. Never on my own, never my own home, my own space,my own life. I have heard my family members and friends tell me that the only time that I am myself is only and ONLY when my husband was not around,I was beat down and told i was nothing better then dirt, yet I loved him, I loved him for so many years, my father was very abusive to my mother and I just followed the pattern (cycle) that i had grown up with, I thought what my dad did to my mom, would never happen to me, but it did. It to him trying to kill me to get up anough never to even leave, and this was after the beating so very badly and when he fell asleep i had to sneak out, as I would have never made it out of the door had i not left ( escaped) this way. And I dearly need the hope and to believe that I am a Great Person, Friend, Sister, and finally stop living in fear as i have grown so accustomed to, So I ask that I be considered in winning this makeover as i desperately need just to know I am worthy and thanks so much for listening"

"Carol, you are a special person and bring so many new and fresh perspectives to the world we live in. Much needed information in this world of negativity and judgement. Thank you for all you do. I would love a Dressing Your Truth Makeover! I have determined I am a Type 1, but sometimes making choices can be a little overwhelming. I would like to make a career change into the energy healing field, and think that dressing my truth would clarify who I am and the gifts that I share. New beginnings are very exciting, and as I transform, I would like to help others discover their greatness and true selves as well. Coming from a place of truth always opens the doorway to possibilities. Manifesting this physically anchors possibilities. I love helping others!"

"My son saw a picture of me when I was 17 years old. He looked at it, then back up at me and said, "but why did you get so ugly?" Sam has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He doesn't have a "filter" so I am afraid it is true. I would rather he sees me as beautiful on the inside and out."

"During what some people would call a midlife crisis, I looked for a career change and found that being an energy healing practitioner felt like a natural fit. That led me to be trained in two different modalities and to connect with Carol's wonderful website and blog. I've been fascinated by the Dressing Your Truth program and bought the Discover Your Personal Beauty Profile book and online course. However, I'm very much a type 3 personality but my physical features are possibly a 2 or a 4. So I'm a bit confused and would love to have the makeover. I know how powerful energy healing is for my clients, and I would love to have the confidence to know that my outward appearance is congruent with my inward energy. I know this would help my energy work for others be more powerful and effective. Thanks for the opportunity to make a greater positive impact on our world!"

"I am a mother of six children including one teenager son, a pre-teen son, a school-age daughter, and THREE preschool children. My husband is fabulous, great, amazing, and wonderful; however, he's not home too often. He has his full-time job (shift work, no less) and part-time job in the military (National Guard). I am also in school full time trying to get through nursing school. My life is intense right now! I don't just want this makeover, I NEED this makeover. I am so worn out and tired, and I know I look it. I don't know how to express myself and don't possess the knowledge I need to show people the true energy I have. I could use a little boost of confidence and a shot of beauty, and I know this makeover would do it for me. Thank you for any consideration."

"Carol, let me first say I am so grateful for all that you do, for each day when I go to my email and find a gift from you %u2013 it is just like unwrapping a present %u2013 helpful tips on how to dress or affirmations on how to let go of what%u2019s not working and embrace my %u201Ctruth%u201D. I so appreciate all you do and what you so freely give to help us all be and live our truth. I would love a %u201Cdressing my truth makeover%u201D because%u2026I have all my life had to live with pain, have done a pretty good job of it until I was in an auto accident. A young man in a Ram Tough truck rear-ended my car and like a crash test dummy, my body was shook to the core. Almost 3 years later, with pain management treatments that yearly burn off nerve endings in my back so they can%u2019t communicate the pain to my body, steroid injections in my neck, and mega medication, I have come back to the land of the living and begun to have a life again %u2013 even found my smile and great laugh in my back pocket. Dealing with pain leaves its toll on you. Every day I look in the mirror and try to see the beauty and not relate to a face and body of pain. I would be so thankful to win a %u201Cdressing my truth%u201D make over, While I excel at so many things this area is one that I do not, (I%u2019m a dress in black gal %u2026 not sure it%u2019s even my black) and it would be such a great gift to let my exterior beauty shine in support of all the work I am doing internally. Thank you so much for your consideration and this wonderful opportunity. Leslie"

"I graduated from Utah State University in Mechanical Engineering (one of only about eight girls) 18 years ago this May. I was pregnant when I graduated and decided to stay home with my baby instead of getting a job. I went from being considered "smart" and having achieved something from a worldly point of view to being "just a housewife," in just a short period of time. My youngest child will be going to first grade next fall and I would like to "dip my foot in the pool" and start looking for a part time job. I need the "Dressing Your Truth" makeover because being a Type 2 I have just bought clothing that is comfortable, I don't really have anything that makes me look professional. My shoes are super comfy, but not too great looking. Pretty much all I do with my hair is a ponytail - because it is quick, comfortable, and cheap."

"Are you kidding? Check out the babes transformed on your site! Who wouldn't want that? My war cry this year has been "fabulous at fifty" and I've made a couple wish list goals I'd like to meet by the end of the year like playing softball on a league for the very first time, passing the PHR exam, have a rocking body (subjectivity rules, right?) and train for a reining competition. My job is rewarding in that I get to help make a difference in many lives each day and I love that part of it. But many days, my bucket is empty and I could use a little pick me up. I'm thinking that being shown how to dress my truth is just what I need. Hubby is much younger and even though he's happy with the now me, I'd love to show up looking like the hotties you've already helped look as fab as they feel! "

"I would love my friend to win the DYT makeover! Her son was having potty training issues, so I told her about the Carol Tuttle Better Parenting Show as I had just listened to the show on potty training. The next time I saw her she said she was reading your book. She texted to say she was a type 3. The time I saw her after that, she was wearing gold jewelry and said she had purchased the course online! She thanked me for spreading the word. She said she was still unsure if she really was a type 3 and had questions about how to really dress and wear her hair full-on type 3. I would just love her to look and feel her best! Thanks for all you do."

"I want to win the Dressing Your Truth Makeover because I want to able to perfectly dress, accessorize and apply makeup the way a type 4 should. Initially, I thought I was a type 3 and dressed like that for one year. While attending the Grand Opening of the new DYT store in Draper I met Carol. I introduced myself to her saying I was a type 3 and she immediately and confidently said, "No you are not. You are a type 4." I was devastated to say the least. I could not and would not believe it at first. I went home and reread, watched videos and reflected about who I really was. I acknowledged the fact that Carol, is the expert, since she is the founder of the entire system. So if any body should know it should be Carol. I have accepted I am a T4 and am on the pathway to dressing like the stunning, bold lady I am. I don't want to make mistakes while embracing this system like I was doing for a year prior. With this awesome makeover I will be able to dress and live my truth with more exactness."

"I have been reading your book since 2008. Honestly I let it sit for a while since it was a gift, from my mother, and I was uninterested. After yet another life crisis, I picked it up and read it. I knew it was truth. I have put it down here and there....more life crisis...more reading..and finally applying. I have 4 children, 3 grandchildren...and starting over yet again. All I can say is if this makeover does anything for me like the book has, It will be amazing and I look forward to it. "

"I think I need and deserve this makeover because for my whole life I have been truly afraid to be myself. Whenever I did act like myself people thought I was rude and judgmental. Now that I know I'm a 4 and that's just how I am I'm proud and slowly becoming more confident in myself. I think this makeover would confirm all that I've learned about my personality so far and increase my confidence by millions. "

"11 years ago I went through Beauty of all Seasons and looked much better. I attended a meeting where a few people I new from High school were at. While there one guy tried to give me a complement by telling me I was like the ugly duckling. I know that my look was different then my look in High School. The only problem with this complement is that it tells me that at one point I looked ugly. A dear friend of mine mentioned Dressing Your Truth about a year and a half ago. It has taken me a while to finally start learning about the program. As I have learned about this program I found out that I am a Type 1 with a lot of Type 4. When I went through the Beauty of All Seasons I was put into the Winter group. Which, would be a Type 4. I have become very comfortable with these colors types and styles. However, I know that if I can become more aware of Type 1 colors and styles I will look and feel more like me, and will allow others to get to know the real me even during a first impression. I would love the opportunity to become more familiar with my real truth. I realize that Dressing my truth allows others and myself to be more comfortable with who I am. I would love the opportunity to have a total Make over with a GREAT program that will help me figure out the best colors and styles for me! "

"I was divorced after 30 years of marriage and now have to work to provide for myself. I just finished radiation treatment for breast cancer for which I had lumpectomy surgery last November. I have always had a problem with my weight and am very self-conscious about it. Being on the cancer drugs has made me gain even more weight. I want to look and feel better about myself. I am trying to improve my inner self by reading Carol's book, "Remembering Wholeness." I don't want to be an "old maid" anymore. My daughters say I need to get back into dating. I'm not sure if I am quite ready for that, but I need to feel better about myself first. Thank you."

I also have some 3 in there and a bit of 1 every so often! I have 9 children, 4 still under 18, 4 grandchildren with 2 on the way and have always struggled with finding a style that is not too teenagerish, but not "old lady" either. My naturally curly hair needs some guidance too! I would like to embark on my midwifery journey with the full confidence and energy of my types. Thanks for all you do to help women find their truth!!"

For years I have wanted to know what colors and styles I should be wearing. I truly have never known what looks good on me. I have done the short course and still don't know my type. My answers have been just about equal on the Type 1 and Type 2. Do you have a Type 1.5? HELP!"

My new business needs to take off, and I need to look the part. My family's welfare is counting on my success . . . so BRING ON THE MAKEOVER! "(I am already a member of DYT and lovin' it.) My mother SO needs a DYT makeover because I believe it does much more than make us look good. Because my mom has seen a phyciatrist her entire adult life, many "friends" brush off her type 3 comments with something like, "Oh, don't mind her. She's just mental." My mom is certainly not "mental," but it's been repeated so often I fear she almost believes it herself. If my mom were dressing her truth I imagine she would be seen as a "[woman] to be reckoned with" and gain much needed self-respect."

But the real jewel of finding this fabulous program is that it has led me to Carol's book Remembering Wholeness, which not only compliments the Dressing Your Truth program but is helping me realize who I truly am. I want this for my daughter in law, and feel that it will open the door to her finding these truths for herself and give me the opportunity to share Remembering Wholeness with her and my son in a way that they will certainly take notice. "A Dressing Your Truth makeover would give me a much needed boost to my confidence and self esteem. I made a major life change two years ago (at the age of 56) and moved from Iowa to Colorado to be near my daughters and grandchildren. I had recently gone through a divorce and needed to get out of the old life style. This meant selling my home, handling a cross country move, finding a new job and rebuilding my life. It hasn't been easy and I am struggling to find myself - to have this makeover would really be a great boost and help me move forward with more confidence. "

I am going to be working in a chiropractors office and I need new clothes. in child care you could wear sweats and jeans. Since I am just starting my business. My clientele is not very big right now, so all my money is going to childcare for my youngest who is 3. I could use a makeover for the new me in my new field. I am married to my husband of 19 years who has been laid off 3 times in the last 7 years. He went to school to e a barber, but it was not enough. He finally got a job last summer. "I've never been somebody who has bought into the whole fashion industry. Initially it was because I didn't have the self-confidence to see that I could be beautiful. My attitude was if I can't do it then it's just not worth it. I felt totally clueless and intimidated by what I thought I was supposed to look like. I didn't feel like I knew at all how to look good. That mixed with the underlying feeling of just not being one of those girls that knows fashion made me think it was something I might never get. I found trying to look good very stressful. It's like there are so many parts, from your hair to your accessories and trying to match shoes and things ahhh so much going on! I doubt myself all the time. I feel like oh maybe this looks good or does it? I'm not so sure. I have started to see my own beauty now, thanks to many things but mainly a wonderful man who opened my eyes to it. Since then I have been looking for a way to figure this looking good business out! Dressing you truth speaks to a part of me that says yes, this is what you've been looking for. It just seems to encompass the element of loving yourself for who you are that is no where to be found in the fashion industry. It's like the fashion industry is saying you have to do x, y and z to be beautiful. Whereas it seems like dressing your truth is saying you just need to do x, y and z in order to enhance your own beauty. This would be the perfect opportunity for me to really get to the crux of my questions about all of this. What is beauty? How can I best show my beauty? I want people to see me for who I am and to think wow, she knows how to look good. Thanks for the opportunity to win this amazing prize :). Good luck to all, may you all find your own inner beauty queens! xxx"

This is an opportunity to discover (or maybe rediscover) the real, true "me." I've been questioning who I am for quite a while now, feeling lost... I think I lost myself in the corporate world - having to look, act and be a certain way for so many years - I don't really remember what my true essence was/is, and would LOVE to get myself back. My heart breaks when I think about this. I want to be the real me, love the real me, dress in a way that is in harmony with my personal nature - and feel the joy in doing it."

Winning a Makeover would be exactly the push that I need to really start feeling confident enough to dress my own truth, to go shopping with assurance that I am expressing my true nature even in the clothing that I choose. I'm currently pregnant with my fourth child, my husband is a student & I struggle with purchasing anything, even if it's a necessity. I take care of my body, exercising during pregnancy, and trying to take care of myself in all the "cheap" ways. Winning this would be a dream come true."

"Just before my 40th birthday, I was blessed with a little energetic, full of life, type 1 bundle of joy. I am a type 2-1 and like to have things planned out and this little surprise really caught me off guard. I have two other children, a type 2 daughter who is 18 and graduating this year, a type 4 son, who is 15 and hormonal, my cute little type 1 little guy who is almost 4 and I am married to a type 4. This past December my brother passed away suddenly and his death along with the worry for my siblings and parents have really been hard on me. (Just a few minutes after his passing, my aunt gave me a hug and whispered in my ear, "The big sister who couldn't save her brother" then she walked away. ) As you know, type 2 people don't like change and we worry a lot and internalize everything, so all of these big changes in a short amount of time have really taken a toll on me. I recently learned about "Dressing Your Truth" from my sister-in-law and it has made an incredible impact on my life. I feel like for the first time in my life I am beginning to understand who I am and why I do the things I do and how to better understand and communicate with others. These tools have helped me see the fun in life again. I would love, love, love to win the makeover because, well, I love a good deal, I love to laugh and I love the thought of someone helping me decide what changes would help me express on the outside the changes I am feeling on the inside. I feel very blessed to have found out about "Dressing Your Truth" in a time of my life when I was really beginning to feel like it was falling apart. I have spent many years worrying about everyone else and not taking enough time to take care of me. I am hoping that the skills I have learned will help me lose the unwanted pounds I have put on. I am finally giving myself permission to love myself and be who I know I really am. I feel a makeover will give me the added boost of confidence I need to share what I have learned with those around me. (Plus, I would love to meet you and your amazing staff and visit your fun store) I am a winner either way. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talents. "

"I grew up in a family who valued athletics. I was always taller than other girls in my small town and wearing my brother's clothes was perfect for hiding myself and being a jock. Often you hear that "beauty is from within"...I do believe this very much. Dressing your truth allows a person to be who they really are. This gives you confidence and guidance in becoming your personal best...we are all different, all beautiful in different ways...I'd love to really feel and experience the real me! No more hiding! That is what real beauty is all about. I want to be unstoppable and I know this will make a huge impact! Thank you for shedding new light on true beauty."

"I have recently discovered that I'm a Type 1 and I'm SO happy about it. My mom is a VERY strong type 1 so my Type 4 took over to make things function better at home. I thought I was a type 4 but when I discovered that I'm a Type 1 I started bringing back the fun me. My kids are loving it and I'm much happier. The only problem is that I'm not yet dressing my truth. I cannot afford the course and I currently only have $15 in my clothing budget. With 3 kids and summer on it's way I won't be seeing any of that money. Plus I've lost 22 lbs since the beginning of the year so I REALLY need some new clothes! Also, the contest closes on my husbands birthday. What could be a better gift to him than a bright, animated and Cute (or Hot!) wife?!!! "

With that said, I have evolved and blossomed at being me on the inside. It is now right and timely that I am me on the outside. I have been waiting for a special of some kind to become involved with the dressing your truth program. This is one way that this desire may manifest. "Where to begin? I need a Dressing Your Truth makeover because I am ready to make some changes in my life! I have seen from other posts that many women have had medical difficulties, myself included, and my body is not the same as it once was due to medications, stress, and surgeries. This has been difficult on my self esteem, and I know my outward body does not reflect who I am on the inside. I would love some help expressing the real me, chubby cheeks and all. :) "

Which in turn will make others want to act/look/feel better also. I love sharing things that really work....... 2. "I just found out that I am pregnant with my first daughter! For much of my life, I found myself uncomfortable with my own self-image and felt lost when it came to finding clothes, doing makeup, and styling my hair. In retrospect, I believe that this was so not only because I was not recognizing my true nature as a type 4 woman, but also largely because my mother didn't know who she was either. My mother really believed that she was ugly, and could never be beautiful. She also was never confident in herself. Unfortunately, this mentality passed on to my sisters and me--we felt we were ugly and intrinsically unacceptable, too. I am grateful to have now discovered Dressing Your Truth and am excited for the money to pay for the course and the wardrobe overhaul to show up! Above all, I want to be able to live and dress my true nature confidently as an example to my new daughter, and perhaps even be able to help her discover her beauty as well."

For my face, that passes but so does time and I would like to slow it down as well as give it the best appearance as within my means. Shoes need to fit with more comfort, yet style is so much harder to fulfill this expectation. Accessories: I find that color has reappeared to brighten up my day and night. "I believe I am a type 4. Not a stunner, but I am the Mountain. I'm tired of hiding in baggy tee shirts and ponytails. Everyday I pull my hair back like a librarian, & tone myself down so people won't look at or notice me. But then when my bold, straightforward thinking materializes, everyone seems shocked and judgmental, and now I understand from DYT why. My personality and outside appearance, is not a match. I didn't want to be type 4. But I am. Please help me OWN it. I promise to get out of my own head and accept your help fully. I have become worse for wear by denying my true bold self. I thought if I toned down people would stop looking at & judging me. But through the years it has only gotten worse because I was trying to be, someone I am not. I am stillness, and I have become stagnant. Please help me to reflect the truth of myself, so I may become an effective, conscious, truthful human being."

Because of this I could never dream of paying for a dressing your truth course, let alone a makeover. I need major makeover help! I've always been a tom boy. Heck, at church on Sunday it didn't bother me that I hadn't shaved my legs for almost a month. Who looks at legs? I do my hair sporadically and apply makeup quickly, sometimes even with my fingers. I have so many things to accomplish that I don't want to bother with details but I know others look at details. But where to start? Stress is high and money is low; my husband has been unemployed for almost a year now. My four kids need a mom who is balanced and able to meet their needs on all levels. Carol, you're Manifesting Money Boot Camp is opening doors for me. Please help me dress my truth so that they won't shut behind me. Sincerely, Wendy Thomander"

"well I just hit 56! I'm closer to 60 than 50 (sob) and am starting to look my age...urg! I haven't had a make over by anyone in years other than the occasional hair cut. Madison Killen works with me and she has been telling me all about Dressing Your Truth and just loves it...so it would be wonderful to spruce me up so I can feel better about myself and handle all the crud that gets thrown my way on a daily basis. My life is extremely stressful (Madison can attest to that...she hears about it all the time, poor girl!) and it's taking a toll on my little face. I'm starting a new career (very scary at my age) so I need to look the absolute best I can. Any and all help would be immensely appreciated! Cindy"

WOW some people really have it hard, and compared to them my life is sweet. I have my ups and downs, but nothing compared to cancer survivors, and the lady of 12. So if you pick me I will share with those less fortunate. Glad the sun is coming out, I am on my way to visit my husband in ICU, but he will get better."

"Why? Easy - last April 29 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, underwent chemo and radiation treatments - a year later (now) I am a cancer survivor. Chemo was hurrendous to deal with and produce side effects that I still deal with. Somedays I am so tired and hurt all over but I am glad to be alive to feel the pain &tiredness. I lost 30# and am finally getting my hair back. The treatments take a real toll on a persons body & I know just want to feel pretty again. "

"Like so many things in life, we've all been lied to--by others, by ourselves--and believed those lies. As women, we deserve better. We deserve to seek and know truth, to be seen for who we are, and to be the best mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, etc that we can. Dressing Your Truth can help me understand that I AM beautiful and always have been. It can help others to see my true nature and honor that as well. It's time to close the book on the broken fashion industry and open another that truly compliments a woman and *gasp* actually brings her joy! Letting in more joy is what this big picture is all about, and I am ready for it! "

"Carol Tuttle already looks great, but there are two reasons she needs a makeover. 1) She's a type 3 leader and if she wants everyone to follow, she needs to set the standard. 2) Even a bad makeover is invigorating, but a makeover that includes who you are, truly feeds your energy and this is all about energy isn't it?"

"I was raised 1 of 12 children. I never knew where my place in life was. I was depressed from an early age and continue to be. One day I was singing or trying to and my Mother told me to stop that noise. I was always told I wasn't worth anything. I don't blame my parents. They were told that too, I'm sure. So I have never known where I fit in to things. I was so shy in school, I couldn't ever speak up for myself. Kids made fun of my handmade clothes. I am 64 and I still don't know who I am. I would love to win this course and find out just what type of woman I really am. I tend to buy a lot of black. I like to blend into the background."

It would be wonderful to have some new clothes that I can feel comfortable in, for once! I am also a mother of 3 young girls under 6 and many days I feel so wrung out with raising them and dealing with our recent personal challenges from the flood that it would be so nice to feel like, not just a mother or wife, but also a woman."

"I have always felt like I never look good in anything I wear. My father never made my mother or myself feel good about the way we were or dressed. He always wanted to try and change who we were. The older I've become I think that he never felt good about himself or his alcoholism so he managed by making others feel bad about themselves. No matter how hard I try, I can still sometimes hear his comments. Since I've been doing dressing your truth and learning that I'm a type 1 its been life changing. It feels amazing to know I'm bright, animated, fun, and have an upward movement! Better yet that its good to feel good about that and not that I need to change it. What's hard is getting rid of clothes that I love and are not right for me. If I do that, there will be no clothes to wear. I have bought things recently that are type 1 but I feel I do not have enough clothes to make outfits for a daily basis. The other struggle is knowing what is professional to wear for my career yet still being true to a type 1. For me, having this makeover would be more about getting the know how in dressing my truth and learning to rock it out! Thank you, Deanna Voss"

I live in Big Sky Country. My closet which is more like a small bedroom is a mess, but I can't seem to throw much away or organize it. What should I keep & what should to throw out. I like to feel updated, like quality things, look age appropriate, & also blend in of a sort. I feel like I'm all over the map & need help! I often feel like a sophisticated big-city-woman living out in the country where everyone wears outdoor mountain sportswear! Please help me-I'm 27 years overdue for assistance. "My mother was a color and fashion consultant my entire life and told me that I was a summer (comparable to a Type 2). The majority of my clothing has always been more in the softer colors & would receive compliments in them. Then I went through the energy profiling course and went to the class in person & was told that I was a Type 1. I went a year and a half believing I was a Type 1 & struggled with the clothing & jewelry that I saw other Type 1s wearing. I would try some of the colors, but I wasn't feeling connected to any Type 1 style. Then, through facebook, I was told by Carol herself that I was a Type 3. I was relieved to find out that I was a Type 3, but the style was completely opposite of what I had been told my whole life to wear. I need a makeover to be shown that Type 3 style can look good on me when I have been told that the colors are absolutely awful on me."

Although others see me as well put together emotionally and probably physically I think there is something that is still missing, I love that I will always be a work in progress, however right now I feel like the outside needs to match the inside. I'm still not quite comfortable in my own skin or maybe I'm not comfortable in the clothes in my closet or how to buy clothes for me? I seem to do well helping friends and family? I have spent a lot of my life taking care of other people and I wonder if I have lost a part of me in that process and if now this is time to put me first(wow, that was hard). I am very good at helping other people find their place in the world, I am a leadership and career coach, but I think I could be even more effective if I dressed my truth, if I understood it a bit better. I think because of the path I have travelled I am finally ready to see who the true me really is and to live it on the outside. I would love your help. Thanks Leslie"

I would love to come to a place where I am embracing who God made me to be and I would love to pass this on to my daughter so she can start living her truth. Thanks so much for all you do! Jan "

"My grandmother lost her parents as a baby and my mother had little parenting skills. Some women in my family have their husbands dress them but that does not feel right to me. My father had mostly brothers, so he could not help me find a style either. My girlfriends in my twenties encouraged me to dress in "religious clothing", that did not feel right for me either, although I learnt a love of dresses. I need a plan to follow about dressing like a woman that can carry me through life. I've been paying for medical treatments, I'm getting better, but don't have the economic means to purchase it on my own. I've seen many makeovers, and have been wowed! I believe Carol provides a phenominol service to helping women with their image. Too many women let themselves go after fifty when this is the time to look your best!"

"I need a Dressing Your Truth makeover because I am an expression of Divine light and love and I am meant to radiate that to the world and everyone around me. I am meant to be aligned with all that supports me and is a mirror of the awe inspiring being that I am. I am meant to radiate that to all so that they too can feel that in the very core of their being and feel the awe of who they are. That is an inside feeling that needs to be reflected from the inside to the outside and Dressing Your Truth is a tremendous support in that it allows us to stand in that beauty and feel the Truth of who we are by affirming us and reminding us that just like the flowers and the trees, the mountains and the streams, and like all the magnificence of nature, we too are magnificent, fabulous women, men and children who deserve to be and clearly own that knowledge of ourselves so that we can see in ourselves and others the beauty we see all around us. It is an incredible, irresistible feeling to look at a certain type of flower or bird and to be confident in affirming to yourself that that same expression of beauty and exquisiteness is in me and is expressed by me. That is sheer awesomeness! Thanks Carol and all the Dressing Your Truth Team for seeing that in all of us and wanting to uncover that vision for all women and their families and loved ones to see. It is a powerful gift to hold that vision for all of us. With heartfelt appreciation. Namaste! Sharon"

"The reason I need a Dressing Your Truth makeover: Over the last 6 ½ years my world turned completely upside down. I buried my oldest child (a son who would be 30 now) a little over 6 years go, then 2 ½ years later buried my youngest daughter. I had a child in between the deaths of these two %u2013 and one after the deaths of these two (yes I barely got the last child here 6 months before I turned 50). During this same time period I lost my father, my inheritance, my performing arts studio (I fell apart after the death of my second one%u2014thought I sold it and my sweet employee decided not to pay me%u2026. I was in too bad a place to do anything about it) and my husband lost his job. I have gone from a place of feeling like life wasn%u2019t worth living to a place of at least stability and one of hope. I literally had to find reasons to live. On a side note, I know that we are supposed to bring things to us, and that we create our world %u2013 but I haven%u2019t been able to figure out how I brought the deaths of my children to me. I don%u2019t think I did. I have asked myself if it is possible that we bring most of what we experience, but we also live in a world of agency and some things are beyond our control. I have read Remembering Wholeness several times. I bought a ton of them and gave them all to friends one year for Christmas. You have helped me so much just from this book. I thank you for that. So, what does all of that have to do with this contest? I am now the one in my family who has to support us. I have started teaching performing arts again, and am in a position where I am trying to brand myself and have locations nationally. I am trying to change the face the arts, restore class and dignity, modesty and family friendly content. I sooooo need to have a style, find the right hair style (I just cut off 10 inches %u2013 but somehow this new style doesn%u2019t seem me either). I dress poorly and have no flair. I think I dress like I feel %u2013 like I am a tad bit defeated and very tired. Draw no attention to myself etc. After the deaths of my children I have had friends who did Dressing Your Truth. It completely changed them. I have wanted to do this since I heard about it. I just haven%u2019t had the ability to do so. I am not the same size as I used to be most of my life. I still have some of the %u2018baby fat%u2019 on me. I have NEVER had an issue with weight in the past%u2026 I am not fat, but my shape has changed. I desperately need help. All I can say is that receiving this gift would be and unbelievable blessing %u2013 one that is much needed and I would be more grateful than words can express. "

"Hi, I believe I need a Dressing Your Truth Makeover because I often have big ideas about putting make-up on and buy the stuff but do not use it because I do not have the confidence to do so. I have also plucked out all my eyebrows for some reason and do not draw the lines back in. I am the same with clothing. I have big ideas but do not follow them through because I am not sure of myself. I have also lost weight, on purpose! And now my old clothes are too big - I am very glad to say. I keep fit and would like to dress my new body and make it look good but just feel unsure of myself all the time so continue in my old ways. xx"

"For the last 20 years I have been a fulltime mother homeschooling my children for most of that time and I put the care of myself last. Over the last few years I have been exercising, losing weight, and caring for me and thus, taking better care of my family now that I realize the importance of taking care of me. I have discovered that I REALLY enjoy interacting with people and find myself in the public more and more. So, now that the weight has come off and my energetic personality has returned, I would LOVE to have my appearance reflect the inward and physical changes that have occurred over the last 4 to 5 years. I would love to bring out natural and inward beauty to the outside!"

In addition to that I have a full time job working from home so I don't need a work wardrobe which can leave my remaining options kind of boring. I wear sweats at times but also most jeans and whatever tshirt I can find. I would love a chance to do something to take care of ME and end up looking great in the end as well."

"I'm the Homecoming Queen of my High School and I'm returning for my 30 year reunion this summer. I was in a car wreck this past year and have gained about 40 additional pounds and no longer can wear the clothing that I was wearing before. I'm embarrassed to go back and face my friends. I tried your online course and could not figure out which clothing type that I am. When I was thinner, I would have looked more like a type 3 or 4, but now I'm really not sure which one I look best in. I am drawn to more earthy tones or to the bright colors. I wore bright colors in my 20's and thought that I was a "spring", but later looked at myself in pictures and felt like I looked like a daffodil! I'm lost, I'm really not sure which of the 4 types I am. It would be great to find out where I could start pulling my "look" together before going back to my reunion in June!"

"I am the mother/step-mother of 7 children ages 20, 19, 17, 14, 13, 11 & 2. I will be 46 years old in a couple of months. I have spent the last couple of years working on spiritual development including focusing on my chakras (through the Chakra7 Program). I am working to improve my health by recently adapting a vegetarian diet, which has helped me to significantly lower my blood sugar (I have type 2 diabetes) and loose 25 pounds. Creativity is my heart's passion, which I lost for several years. Within the last year, I have reconnected with that part of me by writing and publishing a book in March 2011 and learning pottery and stained glass (things I've wanted to learn since I was in high school). My appearance has never been much of a priority for me, but with all the accelerated changes in my life I would like feel comfortable in the choices I make in how I look instead of just flying by the seat of my pants and relying on t-shirts and sweatpants as my staple. I would love to have the opportunity to continue my transformation through your "Life-changing makeover and shopping spree"."

I would like to nominate my adorable grandmother whom I believe is a type 1. She will be turning 75 in a few months and I have wanted to purchase this program for her. She has wanted to purchase the program as well but with her strict social security income she is not able to do so. I would love to purchase it for her as well however, with a young family the extra hundred dollars always seems to be used for something else. I want to express my love and graditude to my grandma. Grandma was the one who introduced me to shopping, my grandpa says that the first week she meet me after birth she took me into little botiques to teach me about fashion and the shopping has never stopped. Sometimes I do have to say especially as a teenager it was difficult becasue her style and mine are different and i couldn't figure out why she looked so good in Junior clothing and me a teenager didn't I am a type3, with the help of dressing your truth I figured it out aand now I want to pay it forward to her so her shopping experiences can be that much better. While my grandma is older in years you would never know it, I still think she is in her earlier 40's with the activities she enjoys her youthful apperance and zest for life. My sweet adorable grandma has helped me become the women that I am today and I think she would be so thrilled to receive this great honor. I need help to figure out what is appropriate for an aging., Overweight grandma! I couldn't dress myself when I was young, I still don't know what looks good now that I am older. I don't want to be an embarrassment to my husband at company events! I need HELP!"

She is already a beautiful woman, but I know she would benefit from this program so much. She has many health issues and has been through so much. Where she is limitted by her health as to how much she can get out and be around other women and shop and enjoy the fun things she used to, I know that winning this contest would brighten her life. Because it is an on-line course, she could learn from home how to Dress her Truth. She could also shop the on-line Dressing Your Truth store. That has been devastating, but we also moved across the country, away from family due to my husband's job. Plus, I faced surgery for a multiply torn achilles tendon and a long rehab which, after a year, still isn't over and left me with a 35 lb. weight gain because of inactivity. I could use a fresh start, to feel like a new me and get me back on the road to health and productivity in my life."

"Age, body changes, life changes and a closet that has only black loose pants with maybe 8 tops, 1 black dress, and 2 pairs of black shoes. Thanks, Jaye Lynne"

"At 51, it's hard to dress age appropriately and not look like a 'teenager wanna-be' or one of my mother's bridge friends. Sometime I think my hair looks like Sally Fields football helmet hair in Steel Magnolia. How do you stay stylish, not age yourself (old or young) and look your best? That's why I am interested in this makeover !"

"I'm already a Dressing Your Truth member, so I would like a makeover for someone else. "

I believe this is my chance for a lifechanging experience to present itself in my life. Having two children with Autism and suffering with chronic pain are challenges, but I have endured with joy and happiness. I'm evolving into the next chapter of my life and a new makeover will simply reflect the changes that continue to occur within..."
