After more than thirty years as a model and on the cusp of entering my sixth decade, I answer your questions with a "shoot straight from the hip" style. I could blame my mid-western roots but I believe I have always been this way--even as a young child, I refused to "sugarcoat" my opinions, much to the chagrin of my parents, whom, I'm sure, suffered many an embarrassing moment! This is what I believe: Truth is a form of empowerment. Aging is a fact and, although slower, like death...it's unavoidable! I want women to embrace aging and find their goddess within. So many of us would gladly hand over our first borns (or first grandchild!) for the one magic pill which would restore our skin and our bodies to their former glory. But, contrary to the advertising claims by the multi-billion dollar beauty and diet industry, there are NO external magic wands, pills or serums. That's not to say you can't go in for a little nip, tuck or needle if that makes you feel better but Jesus, Mary and Joseph, catch an episode of "Housewives of..." to see why it's vital to do "everything in moderation; nothing in excess."
