What Suzanne Somers Does Once A Week To Keep Her Skin Looking Wonderful!

Suzanne Somers may have portrayed Chrissy Snow, a ditsy blonde, in the popular TV sitcom, Three’s Company (it ran from 1977 to 1984), but in real life, no one would call Suzanne “ditsy.” Sharp. Savvy. Entrepreneurial. Controversial, perhaps. But definitely not ditsy.

suzanneOver the course of the last three decades, Suzanne (who turns 70 this October) has built one of the most successful beauty, health and fitness businesses in the United States, with legions of loyal fans.  She could never have kept her enterprises  going this long, based solely on her popularity as a celebrity. Her customers really do like what she’s selling. She’s been promoting her ThighMaster, for example, since the late 90s.

FabOverFifty recently had the opportunity to ask Suzanne about a product she uses every single week, called Crystalift, a microdermabrasion machine that we can easily use at home.

Microdermabrasion is all the rage today with plastic surgeons and aestheticians, who use a “minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer,” according to the website of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.

This type of skin rejuvenation is used to treat light scarring, discoloration, sun damage, and stretch marks, improve age spots and blackheads, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduce or eliminate enlarged pores and acne scars.

“Microdermabrasion helps to thicken your collagen, a protein in your skin that’s abundant when you’re a child and makes skin appear taut and smooth. Collagen production declines as we age, resulting in looser, uneven skin,” the ASPS site says.

Read what Suzanne says about Crystalift and watch her short video to see it in action. Then, learn how you can get this spectacular $250 machine for only $99. Plus, you’ll receive LightActives Firming Collagen Booster as a free gift. It’s an absolute dreamy skin serum valued at $110.

FOF: How does Crystalift work to both soften wrinkles and target age spots and fine lines?  Why do crystals work specifically?

Suzanne: Crystalift is a professional process that combines vacuum lifting and Crystalift exfoliation to lift away older cells from the skin’s surface and bring younger, fresher cells to the surface. This lifts away imperfections and leaves smoother, younger-looking, glowy skin.

Does Crystalift really work as well as microdermabrasion?
How do the two differ?

Crystalift was developed by the same professional microdermabrasion company that develops machines for dermatologists. So you are truly getting $4,000 professional technology for your home, for under $200. Think about it…for the same cost of one salon treatment, you can purchase Crystalift and bring the spa home and use it whenever you want.

How long have you been using Crystalift and how often do you use it?

I was introduced to Crystalift about five years ago, and I use it every Thursday on what I call my ‘home spa day!’ It keeps my skin looking fresh. Exfoliation is so important for the skin’s vitality.

How long is each treatment?

Most people do a treatment in about five minutes, once or twice each week.

How long did it take you to start seeing a difference in your skin?

I saw immediate results in my skin radiance and texture the very first time I used it! There was an instant wow factor, and my husband noticed right away. With ongoing use I saw my lines diminish and age spots fade.

Can you use Crystalift on all types of skin?

Because Crystalift is a non-invasive treatment it’s effective for all skin types and ages.

Plus, crystals have special skin balancing properties that neutralize the skin and allow

for better product penetration and smoother makeup application.

What type of skin do you have?

My skin is normal to dry because my home is in the desert. That’s why exfoliation is so important. I wear a lot of makeup for my work so I like to make sure my pores are getting cleaned out frequently.

Are there other products like Crystalift on the market?

Crystalift is a true advancement in anti-aging skincare and there is nothing else that I know of that puts this professional level technology into consumers’ hands.

Why should every woman 45+ use Crystalift?

As we age, collagen production slows, our skin’s texture changes, and sun spots start to appear. It makes us look older than we feel. Crystalift helps reverse this and makes you look younger and feel better.

What were the credentials of the Crystalift inventors?

Crystalift was invented by Jonathan David, who has been at the forefront of skincare innovation for over a decade. He has a long history of innovation in professional and consumer skin care devices.

It states that you will automatically receive Crystal Capsule refills each month, and you can cancel after 2 months. Any idea how much this will cost for the 2 months? I am leery of clicking on the info link, as I do not want to take away the opoortunity from someone else, if I feel it is too costly. I would also like to know – must you use the Crystal Capsule refills, or can you use other lotions/products with it? Thank you in advance for any info you can provide.

      Hi Travelgirl,

You need to use the Crystalift Capsule refills, which are what the Crystalift needs to perform the microdermabrasion. Four (4) capsule refills for one month (using one capsule per week) are $39.00.

Microdermabrasion with a licensed aesthetician can run into the hundreds of dollars per session. Once you own the machine, you’re basically doing a treatment for $10 a week.

When you use the machine, you can actually see it doing its job. It doesn’t feel harsh, but it works. I have found that the more attention I give my skin as I’ve aged, the better my skin looks.

I am often very leery about celebrity endorsed products. Most of us do not have professional make up artists to make us look “better”, nor do we have the monies to try some of these. I also find it hard to believe wholeheartedly when I don’t see actual un retouched,no makeup pictures of the celebs who push these products.
As much as I would love to have this product,I cannot put more money into something that may wind up in a drawer with otherceleb endorsed products that cost a good deal, yet don’t de.iver.

      HI LMD,

We wouldn’t want you to buy a product that will wind up in the drawer, either. As we say at the outset, Suzanne Somers has been a successful entrepreneur for decades, selling beauty products that she herself uses. I also can tell you that without makeup, she looks 100 times better than I do WITH IT.
