{Test This} Amberen

FOFtestburstJust because menopause has 35 symptoms doesn’t mean you need to experience them! Amberen (retail value: $149.97 for a 90-day supply) is a new supplement that doesn’t cover up our symptoms but supports the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, which is the foundation of a woman’s hormonal signaling system, according to its manufacturer. That’s a fancy way of saying Amberen helps maintain hormone balance (which goes kerflooey during menopause) and provides “relief from hot flashes, sleeplessness, irritability, and low libido,” the manufacturer explains. Combining amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, Amberen reportedly starts showing results about three to four weeks into a 90-day regimen.

Can Amberen give you the balance you need during menopause? 5 FOFs will test this.

To enter to win, answer the question by commenting below: Which symptoms of menopause bother you most (e.g. sleeplessness, hot flashes, reduced libido, irritability)?
5 FOFs will win. (See official rules, here.) Contest closes August 21, 2013 at midnight E.S.T. Contest limited to residents of the continental U.S.

Amberen is not recommended for patients with thyroid goiter, fibroids and extreme forms of uncontrolled arterial hypertension. If you have any serious health concerns, please consult your physician before taking Amberen

Great product. I noticed results within 1 week. I was pre menopausal with night sweats and within a week i no longer experienced sweating. It also helped me sleep better at night. I am on the last pack of the program and hopefully the symptoms wont come back. I have told all my friends and relatives and they are willing to give it a try.

HELP! I am 63 and sometimes feel like I don’t remember life without hot flashes, being bitchy and weight gain. I had a hysterectomy in my early 30’s and went into full blown menopause in my mid 40’s. I was on prescription hormones for my symptoms but was taken off them when my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have tried everything available in health food stores and online, and nothing has worked. I am on a natural product now that actually seems to make my hot flashes worse! Please, please, please let me try Amberen!

Please choose me to try this. I have hot flashes about every hour, sometimes more frequently. I sweat so much, most of my shoulder length hair stays wet. Sweat drips off my nose, chin, and off my forehead into my eyes. I use the Poise cooling cloths that help, not much, but it’s the best thing so far. I gotten about a dozen of my friends using these also. I’m sure if I tried this and it helped, I could get them using it too. Menopause is also screwing up my thinking. I’m in constant memory fog. Sex drive, what’s that? Going on my second year without sex. Drives my husband crazy. My husband says my moods are like a light bulb. One minute, everything is fine, the next the switch flipped and I’m the biggest bitch that ever walked. Help!

I would love to try Amberen to help with my menopausal symptoms. I have been suffering with hot flashes, brain fog, etc. for over 3 years. I have been using a similar product that you ingest orally called Warmi, but it isn’t helping with the hot flashes as I had hoped it would. I’m ready to try something else, and I am most interested because this product contains a special form of magnesium and I know that I am magnesium-deficient – it’s a hereditary thing.

For all the cramps we’ve been through with our periods, the chronic symptoms of menopause “trump” all the discomfort many times over. If this supplement balances this hormone deficiency and eases this aging process without resorting to threatening prescriptions, I think women would be more inclined to weaning themselves from what may be hurting them down the road….

I would love to try this! I had a hysterectomy (uterus & cervix) at age 27, then an oopherectomy (ovaries removed) at age 30. I had been on Premarin for 18 years, with excellent results. However, my GYN insisted that was way too long to be on Premarin, so they took me off of it. Oh boy, then the nightmares of menopause began. I guess I was not expecting that, because I went through surgical menopause at age 30, without any symptoms I might add. I guess that was because they had put me on Premarin right away.
So at age 48 – the ugliness of menopause began. The hot flashes, low libido, the sleeplessness, weight gain, etc. Now I am at age 56, and still suffering from the sleep issues, occasional hot flashes, and certainly weight gain, and still some libido problems. My GYN suggested some “over-the-counter” remedies, but they do not seem to help.
I am so frustrated, I just want my Premarin back – boohoo!!!! I am realistic enough to know that would not be the best idea though, so I m searching for something to help me. Can you help me? Will this be my “golden egg”?

I’m so post menopausal that hot flashes are a thing of the past, unfortunately so is SLEEP. For the past TWENTY years (I started menopause at 39 and am now 59) I have not had a good night’s sleep. As a matter of fact, I can go weeks without seeing a sheep, a Z, or a log and a saw. Don’t even get me started about my libido. I look at a hot young thing and the only thing that passes through my mind is, “oh, he could help me do some repairs in the house” instead of….(well, never mind…I’m not going there).
