Parenting

Give your child choices, but be sure they're all ones you can live with. Like, "Do you want to wear this shirt or that one tomorrow?" or "Which two books do you want to read before bed tonight?" or "Will you be home at 10:30 or 11:00 tonight?" Kids don't always get choices, and that's OK because you're the parent. Dinner is what the parent has prepared...you're not a short-order cook.
