Would like to know about the smokers lines around my mouth. I quit smoking over 20 years ago. However, I have some deep lines around my mouth. How do I get rid of those? Is there a combination of fillers or is it a surgical procedure. I also, had been in a car accident many years ago and there is a deep line about 1/2 long going up from my lip. Would that require filler?

these lines are difficult to treat. you are right, that a combination of fillers and surgery, with lasers, chemical peel or dermabrasion would be a good approach. these would then be followed by good skin care. there is no one procedure or treatment that will solve the problem without maintenance care to continue the improvement. your lip scar may respond to fillers, but it also may need to be released from the deep tissues also.
