How much would it cost to get liposuction and getting rid of loose skin? I know that liposuction can range to about $2852.00 but I haven’t been able to find out how much it would cost to get rid of extra/loose skins and how much it woud cost all together.

The first question I need to ask related to your question is…loose skin where? Depending on exactly where we are discussing the options and costs change drastically. For example, if there is excess fat on the lower abdomen and liposuction is done, it would be reasonable to do a mini-tummy tuck and remove the loosened skin at the same time. The cost of that would be higher than say a removal of skin on the upper inner arm. If the loose skin is on the lateral and posterior thighs and requires a form of body/thigh lift costs again change significantly. Please give me a bit more information on exactly where the excess/loose skin is so I can provide a more tailored answer.

Thank you for your interest in DBG Plastic Surgery. The cost usually depends on what areas you are interested in having liposuction and removal of excess skin. For instance, a tummy tuck with liposuction could be estimated at $8,200 including the doctor’s fee, operating room and anesthesia fee. Most surgeons will typically offer a discount for multiple procedures. It is difficult to give any more specifics without knowing how much or what area you would like skin removal. It is always best to meet with the surgeon to discuss your treatment plan. Please feel free to send me an email @ jjeffery@dbgsurgery.com should you have any more questions. We can provide quotes via email if you are willing to provide pictures.

Thank you for your question. It is very hard to give an amount without seeing the patient. Pricing can range based on the degree of work that needs to be done. The amount of skin removal will change the procedure time, therefore changing a number of factors, amount of work, time in the facility, time under anesthesia, etc. My best advice to you is to meet with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for a consultation. Best of Luck!

I agree with the other surgeons answers. Extra skin usually involves a tummy tuck and for the arms a brachioplasty. A consultation must be done in person to assess how much work needs to be done. In general it does add significant cost but also the results are proportionally worth it. I recommend you get a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area.

A procedure such as liposuction should always be discussed in person on a consultation. Especially, if you are considering skin tightening. There are many options available for this procedure. But it depends on how much liposuction would need to be done and how much loose skin would need to be removed. We offer complimentary consults and I can much better determine exactly what you would need and then be able to offer you a more accurate price quote. Thank you for your time.

When you combine liposuction and excision of loose skin on your abdomen, you’re essentially talking about a tummy tuck. If its on your arms, it would be an arm lift. You really need to see a local plastic surgeon to be evaluated and your goals listened to then a plan formulated for you. Then you can go price shopping knowing exactly what you are asking for.
