It depends on what result you are looking for. If you are happy with the size of your breasts but want a perkier look, you can elect for a breast lift alone. If you would also like your breasts to be bigger, a lift and implants would provide a good result. Once you express your desired results to a board certified plastic surgeon, he/she will discuss which options are best for you.

A breast augmentation with implants will enlarge your breasts. A breast lift is done to reshape the breast when the breast or nipple has sagged. Please see this link:

A breast lift uses the tissue you already have to fix any sagging that you might have. An implant is used to provide extra volume and cleavage if you want to enhance your breasts. Sometimes, an implant and a lift are done together to get the benefits of both.

Thank you for your questions. A breast lift makes the breast higher on your chest but will not increase the volume of breast tissue like an implant will. These procedures accomplish different things and can be done concurrently. An examination must be done in order to determine which procedure(s) is right for you. Please call our office to schedule this consultation. We look forward to meeting you soon.

If you are saggy, nipples below inframammary line – you may need a lift, if you are just small. an implant. If you are small and saggy, a lift with implants can help. Only an in person consultation will let you know what you really need.
