Estar Enamorado Locket
A delicate golden-brass locket opens to reveal a hand-embroidered swallow beside a photo of your loved one. Designer Jennifer Shingelo hand embroiders each insert with navy blue silk thread on antique linen.
Swallows traditionally represent a loved one's faithful return home. Sailors knew that land and home were near when the first swallow landed on deck after their long journey at sea. Jennifer will place your photo in the locket opposite the swallow so that you’ll always know where home is.
--1 ¾” golden brass locket festooned with tiny stars and hung from a 28” brass barley link change with toggle clasp
--Clear acetate inside protects embroidery and photo.
--Polishing cloth enclosed.

About the manufacturer
All pieces are handmade by Jennifer Shingelo in Brooklyn and made from vintage, antique, deadstock or US made components for maximum environmental friendliness. The lockets, which have inserts hand-embroidered by me in my Brooklyn home, are made by a small family-owned New England company which has been in business for over 50 years.
