A Girl Talks About Her Pearls

Sherri Bodnoff, a Southwest Airlines flight attendant, is
the lucky lady who won a magnificent strand
of $2,500 Mikimoto pearls from Roy Herzl, diamond
and jewelry experts since 1855.

She lives in Union, KY, with her 14-year-old daughter, who shares her March birthday.

Sherri became a member of the dynamic community of FOF women on her last birthday, so her new necklace, of AAA Akoya pearls from Japan, is a belated present. The lustrous stand features Mikimoto’s signature 18-carat white gold clasp.

What do you think of the necklace?

I love the look of the pearls. They’re simple, yet elegant and classic, and can be worn for just about any occasion. The necklace makes me feel very special when I’m wearing it. I’ve never owned any jewelry quite like this before!

When will you wear the pearls?

I will wear it at work, and at home, not just for special occasions.

What’s your style?

I’m very casual. I wear a uniform for work, so at home I’m relaxed, I’m more of a jeans and t-shirt or yoga pants kind of woman.

What are your interests?

My hobbies include going to the gym/yoga studio, reading, watching movies, and baking.
