Question: What’s your favorite activity that you do with your girlfriends?
Answer: “My favorite activity is to walk and talk! I love going out in the sunshine for a refreshing walk or hike with a precious FOF girlfriend. While we are walking, we solve our most pressing problems, figure out a way to fix the global economy, end all wars and plan healthy dinner for our families. Yes, a spa day (or two) would be a most welcome change to our routine.”
Question: What is your favorite tropical fruit?
Answer: “I believe I could live on mango. Everything about it is perfect, from the smooth texture, to the sweet but tangy flesh, to the beautiful color. I don’t even mind the juice dribbling down my chin.”
Question: If you could go back in time and have lunch with a famous woman in history, who would it be?
Answer: “I would like to meet Eleanor Roosevelt. She was a powerful woman in her own right at a time when being married to a powerful man was the best most women could achieve.”
Question: Did you read the book Gone With The Wind or see the movie?
Answer: “I must have read the book 20 times. As for the movie, I saw it on the night of February 27, 1962. My son was born in the wee hours of February 28, 1962. I saw the movie in a small theater in Louisiana and was shocked to see it was in black and white. So many of my best memories are of the Cresent City. Question: Did you go to summer camp?
Answer: “Yes, I did go to summer camp. On my first 2 week trip, I met a woman who is still my best friend! That first adventure at summer camp opened up my vision. I recently hiked the White Mountains in New Hampshire with that same friend. Camp experiences last a lifetime. I am ready to try it again.”
