Any suggestions of jean brands (and perhaps a style within the brand) for those of us who are “butt-free”? Everything I’ve tried sags in the seat. Thanks!!

I am looking for jeans that are petite for real in length , I have wide hips and kind of a flat rear , however it is definitely there. I found Lees fit well usually , however the length is not always great . I am 5’3″ so I should be able to wear petite length . It seems they are also too long 🙁 Help.

The best jeans on the planet that are specifically made for real women’s bodies are Diane Gilman DG2 jeans at HSN. They have a chart giving measurements for each jean and they come in regular, petite and tall. Many are embellished with embroidery, beads, etc. and none are over $80. I have no rear also, and these jeans are FAB!

I love Not Your Daughter’s Jeans for a good fit overall with a little bit of stretch! They can be a bit pricey ($85 ), but a decent pair of Levi’s can run $50 . And, like a previous comment indicated, jeans last a long time. I buy mine at Dillard’s.

I meant to say that the NYDJ can be $85 and up whereas the Levi’s can run $50 and up. The plus signs I typed in didn’t show up! 🙂

One word GAP. I hadn’t been in a gap store for myself in years, I was over the moon to find jeans that fit perfectly, if you want to spend a lot of money then J Brand is an option, but why, when you can get three pairs of Gap for the price one of the more expensive brands.

I too have lost my derriere as I’ve aged and I swear by Not Your Daughter’s Jeans. They lift what I have down there and they fit superbly. I buy mine at NeimanMarcus.com but they are now more widely available. They are about $100 but, geez, jeans last forever and, when you break it down per year, it’s miniscule compared to what the jeans actually do for you!

Levi’s always skinny and Old Navy Diva Jeans are good choices and not too expensive. A guy jeans works well for a straight up and down figure. I like Levis. I have the same problem and I don’t buy my jeans a little big, more like a little small to compensate for the sag factor. Jeans with flap pockets on the butt will make it look a little bigger.

in the affordable arena, try Lee Jeans. They are made to enhance the butt. I gave up the brand in the ’80s but rediscovered them when I moderated some focus groups for the men’s jeans line. My colleague reintroduced me to them. What an affordable find!

Try Fabrizio Gianni Jeans. They are stretch, with great colors. They are a beautiful slim cut(not skinny). The waist is higher and very figure flattering.” Vitamina” Jeans also hugs your butt. The White house Black Market has a styles called Noir and Blanc. Also try taking in the waist when they start to sag and fall. Let me know if you have some luck with these Brands. I have two suggestions!
    1) buy yourself a butt. There are many underwear brands out there right now which have a little padding so you can give yourself some booty. Here’s one (not an affiliate) http://shop.rhondashear.com/item.aspx?I=4631&O=R4631#.UXWg16LOn-Y ($30.00 is pretty cheap for a butt!)

    2. Buy yourself boy jeans, (that’s a body type style) because boy’s have no butts. These jeans will fit you perfectly BUT if you want to look like you have a butt (see #1)

I cannot wear boy’s jeans because the pockets go to mid thigh & distort my flat butt & not in a good way. I also have a waist that is almost the same size as my hips -a real problem. I swear by the GAP’s slim crop stretch pants. Not jeans, but terrific. They are also great if you are short.

I actually found some really great jeans at the Gap. Haven’t shopped there in years and they have about 15 types and shapes. I bought some skimmers and a few others and they have a stretch in them but not a baggy butt stretch. I am over spending $175 on jeans and am back to basics although a pair of AG jeans never hurt.
