20September   {Giveaway} Magic Banana®

—————————————————————————————————

FOF Janeson Rayne is giving away three of her Magic Bananas® – a body exploration tool perfected through 30 years of research and development.  Enter to win by leaving a comment below.

Janeson's background in yoga and holistic wellness helped make her very aware of how her body works. "I learned a lot about the anatomy of my own body through yoga," says Janeson. "The potentiality of our bodies is really magical--how those muscles can expand and contract." In the 1970s, she set out to solve a major problem that she was finding in the world of sex toys. "So many sex toys and feminine strengthening devices have been designed for women by men," says Janeson. Feeling that these products fell short, she created her first exploration tool prototype, featuring a loop design which massaged the G-Spot. She shared her early prototypes with a few friends, but ultimately walked away from the project. "There are a lot of obstacles to bringing a product like this to the market," says Janeson.

In 1998, Janeson had a personal conversation with her mother, which made her realize what a need there was for a product like the one she had created in the 70s. "I realized that if the product had helped me so much in my life, as an exploration tool to help understand my body and to understand how it responds sexually, as well as working all those pelvic floor muscles, it could help others," says Janeson.

Janeson went to work getting her prototype patented. "The materials that were available to me during the prototyping phase included a yellow loop and a black handle," says Janeson. "When I held it in my hand and looked at the profile it actually looked like a curved banana. I was well aware that it's powers were magic, and loved how playful the name was."  And so, the Magic Banana was born.

Janeson went through extra lengths to ensure that her product was as safe for women as it was effective.  "All the components used in the product are FDA approved," says Janeson. "They're also medical grade, because I won't compromise anyone's health for aesthetics of design."

So, how does it work? "It has the same principles of a handgrip," Janeson explains. "When you squeeze on a handgrip, it contracts and releases--the Magic Banana® is similar in that regard in that it works in conjunction with your muscles and it works with your own rhythms and movements," Janeson says. Since it's official launch in March of 2012, the Magic Banana® has been featured in major publications such as Shape magazine and on Oprah.com. The Magic Banana is sold throughout the U.S., as well as in London and Canada.

"Understanding our bodies is a process," says Jane, "And understanding how to give and receive pleasure to ourselves and to others is a huge thing. I've had feedback from women in their 60s and 70s telling me that they've discovered their G-Spot for the first time, saying things like 'I was married for 40 years and I never knew that my body could do this. It's amazing to hear women experiencing this kind of newfound excitement over their own bodies."
