My father had raised two boys (13 and 14 yrs older than me) and I was a surprise. He didn’t know how to raise a girl. He did the same things with me as he did with them. We fished, car repairs, carpentry, gardening etc. He showed me that I can do anything. The only standard that was different – I had to be a lady. The wisest thing he taught me was I could be fearless and a lady at the same time. Thanks Dad. I wish you were here to see what did for me…
