I would love to help my family. My Mother passed on Halloween, my sister in law passed on Thanksgiving. So I would pay those bills and with any leftover. I would love to go to Sweden and Norway to meet family.
When I was 6 years old, I lost one side of my family due to a divorce. I am going to be 72 this year so it was a long time ago. Three years ago, I noticed an obituary that I knew had to be a first cousin’s mother. I sent an email condolence and promptly received an answer……….was I the long lost cousin. I have, along with my younger sisters, rekindled a friendship with some very lovely cousins. This last summer we went to a county that my birth-father’s family was from. Found the Hamilton Cemetery and a beauty of an old grocery store built in the 1800’s. It is suffering terribly. Birds had found their way into the upper living quarters and many wasps had nests there, too. But I could feel the vibes of family and I want to save that special place. I am told it would take $150,000.00 to do it but it might as well be a million. Anyone know a way to do it? That’s what I would do if I won or somehow came into money.
I wish I could afford to travel to many places – a return trip to Paris which I haven’t been to for over 20 years; I’d love to go to the Scandinavian countries; and I’d like to visit the countries where all my gemstones come from – Brazil, Equador, Peru, Thailand and Australia. Today is my birthday and as the old song goes “Another year older and deeper in debt” Not quite, but not enough to afford my wish above.
since I was little I always wished I could buy enough property and fence it in and take animals out of shelters that have been abused and abandoned, have them all checked out and give shots needed and let them live out their lives as they were meant to, that dream will always be with me and who knows maybe one day it will happen, OH, also a barn or two big enough to make sure they are out of the elements, that will always be my dream
I wish I could afford a house; no, make that a home. The home I would choose would cost no more than what many luxury cars cost. I would love to own my own, little, two bedroom cottage, preferably in a secluded area by a creek or stream. I’ve been leasing a townhome for many years now and miss my privacy so much. I miss hearing the squeak of the old porch swing chains as I relax on my covered front porch and I miss hearing rain thudding on a tin roof and oh yes, I also miss the sound of nature without being interrupted by doors slamming or kids screaming at the pool just across the way and all the sounds of in-town living. Like the song on Green Acres says…Keep Manhattan Just Give Me That Countryside.
I would like to have a ………was never able to acquire one……….. or better still, the diamond necklace could enable me to buy a nice new car, relocate, help my family, travel etc…
I wish I can pay to send my daughter to college so she wouldn’t be in debt when she graduates…..paying off my debt would help me to pay for her to go to college, but helping her since she is the apple of my eye would be great….
Only one??? I would like to have a car so I could have more mobility and be able to expand my social life. I want to travel to see friends and family, but also to see more of the world. I would love to own my home, not rent. I wish, I wish, I wish. . .
So many things: lived in apartments my whole life, wish I would’ve saved up for my own place; travel to Europe but also would like to see more of the U.S. etc…. Too many things to list.
I wish I could afford to build my dream house! We’ve been living in a little 830 sq. ft. apartment for 6 years. We finally thought we were ready to build our dream home and complications (read lack of money) is preventing us from going forward! Would really love to proceed after dreaming about it for almost 10 years! Oh well, still blessed just to have a roof over our heads, even a small roof.
I wish I could afford to travel with my husband and son to visit and explore the world at leisure. I would like to stay for extended periods of time to really soak in the culture and understand different ways of life around the world.
I wish I could afford to pay off my mortgage and credit card. Then I could afford to have my house painted and a new roof on my front porch, using my monthly retirement payments. As it is, after I write the checks on the first of the month, I barely have grocery money for the rest of the 30 days.
There are too many things to list, but in my ‘former life’ I was able to vacation up to 6 weeks each year – I want that again. I also want to be able to afford a diet program with all food included so I don’t have to succumb to temptation, or a cook who will keep me on track with a weekly set of meals. I need a housecleaning service again, as I’m disabled now and can’t do it on my own, and it REALLY needs cleaning. And I’d love to have my little sports car again, it was a Chrysler Crossfire and really fun to drive. Those things, better health (no more chronic pain) and a Beach House in Santa Barbara and one in Cabo San Lucas would just about DO IT for me.
The one thing I wish I could afford is a beach home. I love the beach. I’d love a short get-away, a vacation, but really, my own vacation home. Even a week, a month, a vacation at the beach would be heaven for me 🙂
As a disabled Veteran there is so much I can’t afford that I’m not able to list just one thing. I do wish it was possible to be debt free and not fearful about money.
To take better care of myself, yes this is something that cost time and money. Something that as a single mother of 3, who was the primary support and care giver over the last 31 years has not afforded herself. While the kids had all that they needed, I let the things I needed most slide, until they could be afforded.
