{Tested} City Cosmetics Intensive Night Repair

Earlier this summer, we asked you why you wanted to try City Cosmetics Intensive Night Repair ($82 for 15mL). The bedtime serum promises to “penetrate deep into your skin to achieve a flawless, youthful complexion.”

Did the bedtime beauty blend stand up to the test? Here’s what YOU had to say!

While a few women didn’t find the serum to have any visible effects, like Dorinda H. of West Chester, PA, who says, “I did not feel this lotion had any positive effect on my complexion.” However, the bulk of our testers thought it was worthwhile product, such as Sharron L. of North Richland Hills, TX, who says “I LOVE that it is in a pump bottle!… I would buy and buy and keep it on hand.”

{Test This} A FFF Cream (Fab Firming Face!)

Laurie Hermann’s Skincare Face Lift Firm It ($49 for .5oz) is “specially formulated for those over 40.” Her #1 best seller, the luxurious moisturizer, can be used daily on the “face, eye and neck,” according to the manufacturer.

The “all-natural” cream includes Moroccan argan nut and pomegranate seed oils, which promote collagen and elastin production to “firm up your skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.”

{Test This} DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Eye Lift

Serious cream to lift tired-looking eyes.

“Let your eyes do the talking,” says the maker of DermaQuest Stem Cell 3D Eye Lift ($78 for .5oz). If wrinkles, fine lines, and puffiness around your eyes are making you look tired, it might be time to give your skin a restorative boost.

{Test This} ‘Delicious’ Sugar Scrubs from Two Good Scents

Sisters Paula and Nancy Goodman have always enjoyed luxuriating in the bath or shower, with the help of divine products that make their skin feel and look soft and radiant. Especially partial to sugar scrubs, they thought many of the products on the market were too oily, too expensive or too harsh. So they decided to create their own line of well-priced scrubs, Two Good Scents ($10 for an 8 oz. jar), with just the right amounts of sugar and shea or mango butter to exfoliate, soften and polish.

And oh! The seasonally changing scents are heavenly. Think citrusy and spicy Timber, intoxicating Blossom and yummy Coconut Cream Pie. After all, if we can’t eat the real stuff, one of the company’s “bakery” scents is the next best thing.

“I’ve loved using Lemon Cookie the last month,” says FOF’s Geri Brin. “The scent is subtle and the texture of the scrub makes me feel like it’s really working to remove the top layer of dead cells from my skin.”
