[Color loss] is not a problem for me, but it may have been marginally better than other shampoos for color treated hair.

Yes, yes and yes.  In all three areas I noticed real improvement.  I noticed significantly less breakage and hair [loss]. I comb my hair out in the shower with conditioner on it and noticed 1/4 to 1/3 the hair loss.

Guinot, a French skincare line found primarily in spas and salons, says that their Liftosome Serum (retail value: $84.00) “lifts and redefines your facial contours, smoothes skin texture and strengthens your skin.” Its key ingredients are the collagen enhancers Biopeptide EL & CL and Vitamin A which the company says help restore surface elasticity and minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Sounds fab….but we had our beauty testers confirm it. Read on for their reviews.

Yes, definitely.

Did you see a difference in your skin?
Even at 54, my skin is still very oily. The first thing I noticed after three days was my oil production was reduced. After using it for three weeks, my tendency to breakout is also reduced. Also, under my chin, where some lines were appearing, [the skin is] tighter now, and the lines are not as visible. The fine lines around my eye area are also reduced. My skin overall seems more supple, well moisturized, but not greasy.

Would you use it again?
Yes, although the $84 price point seems a bit much to me. I’d have to consider how that fits into my budget.

Yes. I feel it is an effective product.

Yes. I have used many similar products with no noticeable improvement. However, I find this product to be effective in reducing the appearance of deep lines from my nose to the sides of my mouth, and at the lip line. This product definitely exceeded my expectations.

I began to see results within one week of using this product, morning and night. The product is hydrating and does not cause dryness and peeling as Renova does. It has a pleasant fragrance without being overbearing (and I have a low tolerance for most scented products!)

Would you use it again?
Yes. I would use this product on a daily basis.

I would most definitely recommend this product to other FOFs. I have had Juvederm and Radiesse treatments in the past. I feel this product has been so effective that I haven’t decided when or if I’ll go back for additional treatments. Although I know this product is somewhat pricey, I feel it is worth the expense, and I will definitely buy it once I find a source.

If you’ve ever had a Keratin treatment in a salon, you know it’s pretty fab. Keratin treated hair is sleeker, straighter, shinier and lasts up to a month. But, it’ll cost you–salons charge upwards of $250.

Now, nuNAAT (retail value: $24.95) has released a kit they say allows you to do this treatment at home. It includes shampoo, gloss and conditioner–everything you need to get “incredibly smooth, strong hair with renewed health, nutrition, flexibility and shine, lasting up to 30 days,” claims the company.

No. The gloss turned very tacky, sticky and stiff in my hair as I blow dryed and it left a horrible residue on my very expensive flat iron. I recommend having a friend help you with the styling process.

The salon application generally lasts me 60-90 days. Also, it is a bit disturbing to use the same shampoo that gets the hair “ready” for the treatment to “wash the product out” after the glossing and styling.

Maybe. If they have a friend that can help them do the styling, yes. If you have had a [keratin] salon treatment, you will be a little disappointed. It is very hard to get the same results, but if you are on a budget, it’s a good alternative.

Yes. Sometimes I can’t fall asleep for hours, and when I do fall asleep, I can’t stay asleep for longer than a few hours.

This product tasted like water with a very faint flavor. In my opinion it doesn’t have a flavor that is very distinguished. It’s almost like watered-down gatorade.

I was afraid to take the entire shot at once, but I did. About a half hour after I drank it I started to feel more relaxed and sleepy.
