For the past 18 months I’ve been working in a “job” after being replaced in my former career by someone half my age. Any suggestions for a new start after 50?

It’s time for you to shine. Now is your chance to do what you have always wanted to do. Take the chance to find what it is that really fulfills you and then make plans and take the necessary steps to create a business for yourself. You can do this without spending a lot of money and whilst working your job so you are not without income. The fulfillment you will get from taking this route will far outweigh any career. Create a list of the things you are passionate about and start researching how you could turn one of them into a business for you. Take the time to research and most of all, have fun. This is your adventure now.

There will always be challenges in life, age is just one of them. And yes, this is a tough one, but it is only one of the many. Start looking at the job and see if it is really suited for you or if you have simply outgrown the position. Do one thing every day to move yourself in the direction of a dream you have had for a long time. Just focus on the direction.

Find something that you love to do. Find your passion and just do it…50 is all about reinvention. Believe in you , take baby steps and make changes that lift you up! Be BOLD, BE Adventurous, life is all about being in the moment and there are no dress rehearsals. This is it…So have some fun and get out there …Keep stepping out of your comfort zone and ENJOY!!! Hope this helps. :))
