1. When I asked the security guard at the big H&M clothing store if someone had turned in a leather glove on Monday, he asked me what color it was. “Orange,” I answered. “Yes,” he smiled, “follow me.” Minutes later, orange glove in hand, I walked out of the store grinning. Who would have believed it? Reconnecting with a lost glove in Manhattan is as unlikely as winning the lottery.

Geri, Happy you found your glove that would have made me happy too. Love the pictures that you use.Are those your gloves? Sometimes the smallest little thing can made a person happy. I love floating in my Boca heated pool, and looking up to the cloudless blue sky. I would be happy if I could stand on my head.Keep up with your Yoga .Good work. Sharon

An happy ending to finding the long lost other glove or a lost pair of sunglasses story are always the best. Rates right up there with finding a lost sock behind the dryer!
Love your dozen Geri; sometimes the simplest of pleasures are the best.
Happy weekend to you : D ~ Deb

Geri, I love your glove story, and especially the photo’s…adorable. : ) While shopping for Thanksgiving dinner at a grocery store in Manhattan, I left my brand new iPad in the grocery cart. Once home, I realized what happened, called the grocery store to see if they found it, and YES, someone had turned it in! How great is that? The kindness of others should not be underestimated! : ) It can happen!

Hi Toby,
Yes, even 20 degrees. I wear a two really thick layers of cashmere and it works! I swear.

ahem. Those of us who do, mmmmm, barn duty, don’t wear cashmere (although I do have sweaters that I’ve made from fleece from sheep we used to have – however, that was not cashmere). But multiple layers work the charm in cold weather. Actually, something I discovered this winter is that wearing one of those stretch tanks from NY & Co. (they come in a zillion colors) underneath tops like blouses is just enough to keep the goosebumps down to a reasonable level in an office environment.

Hi Connie,
I am delighted you got your iPad back.
So glad you like the photos.
Fondly,
Geri

Even when it’s 20 degrees outside? Geri, it was zero degrees outside this morning when I got out of bed. I bet you are not wearing what I’m wearing today.
