testthisintro FOFtestburst

It’s getting hot, hot, hot.

We’re not talking about the weather! EstroAide Naturel Unique Menopausal Symptom Relief & Bone Health Support (retail value: $39.95 for 30 tablets) is a supplement new to the U.S. that targets menopause symptoms and supports long-term bone and breast health, according to the manufacturer. It contains Genistein, a phytohormone that “helps bone health and reduces hot flashes,” and lycopene, a phytochemical derived from tomatoes that relieves “episodes of profuse heat accompanied by sweating and flushing.” The supplement also includes Vitamin D, “which is essential for calcium absorption” and “important for bone health.” “EstroAide Naturel can start showing efficacy and improvement in symptoms within 14 days of daily use. Its effect on the bones is a longer-term process,” says a company spokesperson.

Can a capsule a day keep the hot flashes away? 50 FOFs will test this.

To enter, answer the question: On a scale of 1-10 (10 being most), how much are you bothered by hot flashes?

50 FOFs will win. (See official rules, here.) Contest closes July 31, 2013 at midnight E.S.T. Contest limited to residents of the continental U.S.

I tried rx medicines my OB/Gyn prescribed and had awful side effects so gave up. Really wasn’t expecting much from this product but was pleasantly surprised! It really DOES help! Not only with the severity of the flashes, but the frequency. Great product. 🙂

  2. Karen Goodiwn says:

I must say, I was very skeptical. My OB/GYN had prescribed a couple of strong medications to help, but those gave me BAD side effects (passing out!) and had to stop taking them. But I won your contest, so wanted to give it an honest try, not really expecting much. And I’ll be darned…. this stuff works!! WAY less severe flashes as well as less frequent! Great product! Gotta give it a 10! Thanks!!

I am definitely a 10. Hot flashes have changed my life. I am almost constant a sweaty mess. My hair (which is very straight and fine) is always plastered to my head no matter how much product I use. I literally drip. My grandmother had breast cancer; my mother died of it. I have no sisters. I have, and will continue to, refused HRT because of my family history. I don’t sleep much because of the hot/not hot cycle. I’m never actually cold. I sweat through make-up so between that and my flat hair I always look awful. Any help would be so appreciated.

I am somewhat comforted in the fact that my situation seems to be shared by so many others and distressed that I could still be dealing with years and years of menopause symptoms. I read the comments before posting because I was afraid of sounding like a lunatic. Unfortunately, it appears I’m in like company. My number is 10, but numbers don’t adequately describe what misery hot flashes and night sweats encompass. I’m 60 and this has been going on for over a decade, with no relief in sight. I relate to all my sisters who speak of covers on, covers off, thermostat flipping, and skimpy clothing. A fan in my bedroom is a must to evaporate the sweating. I have clothes I’ve thrown away because they’ve been worn during sweats and nothing will remove the unpleasant aroma. Progesterone cream gives moderate relief. I don’t want to use drugs, but I would welcome the opportunity to try a natural supplement.

I began to wean myself off this week by cutting down the number of days I take my hormones. Immediately began getting hot flashes again – mostly at night. Dang!
