Kathi Elster  from  New York, New York

Was this product comfortable to wear?

Yes, very comfortable. At first they seems tight but the straps quickly loosened up. Once the straps got comfortable, my felt felt supported.

Were you sensitive to them in the beginning?

Yes, the first day they seemed awkward. But within three days I felt I could wear them anywhere.

Did you have more energy while wearing them?

No, I would not say that they gave me more energy.

Did they provide good traction ?

Yes, I really like that aspect, they felt safe.

Did you feel like you were walking barefoot?

No, they were better than being barefoot. I would say barefoot with support.

What was your overall experience with this product?

As for a flip flop they are the only pair you need to own. I like them very much. I would recommend them to everyone.

Would you purchase this footwear for $49.99? Why or why not?

No, I think it’s overpriced for the material. I would pay no more then $35.00.

Would you recommend this product to other FOFs?

Yes, most definitely.

5 loved it.

Cecile Anderson  from  Pasadena, California

Was this product comfortable to wear?

The sandals are not comfortable, sad to say. The part of the strap that goes over to the instep—over the big toe—cuts into the top of the foot. Wearing them all day has thus caused pain and redness in that area.

Were you sensitive to them in the beginning?

I did notice the tightness with the instep or arch side of the strap.

Did you have more energy while wearing them?

Can’t say I noticed anything like that.

Did they provide good traction ?

Yes. Terrific traction.

Did you feel like you were walking barefoot?

No. Feeling like walking barefoot isn’t important to me, as that isn’t always comfortable on the tile floors about my home. I do like how the part that meets the soles of my feet feels. It would be a perfect shoe if it were more flexible around the top of the foot.

What was your overall experience with this product?

I can see how this would be a great get-around sandal, providing more support than my flip flops do. They also look very nice on. They just hurt now where the strap meets the instep side of the top of each foot.

Would you purchase this footwear for $49.99? Why or why not?

No. Not sure I’d pay $50 for any slip on type of shoe. I don’t have deep pockets and that price point for a flip flop type of shoe is beyond my budget.

Would you recommend this product to other FOFs?

I would, but I’d suggest people to try them on first before purchasing. I know people have different shapes of insteps and mine isn’t suited to the shoe as built.

As for rating, I’d give the shoe a 4 for what I think it could be with a better fit. At the moment, it hurts to walk in them. I know the molding of the strap probably won’t give over time, but I will keep wearing them on occasion to see if there ends up being any give.

Thanks for the attention and I am sorry I couldn’t write a more positive review!

Follow up from Cecile:

The sandals that were sent to me have gotten less tight and don’t hurt as one had when I tried to meet the deadline to review them. I was thinking about the two-week span of the project and I recall getting them four days before the review deadline.

So, even though you might not need this anymore, I will say that they have become more comfortable as I’ve broken them in here in the house padding about.

They don’t solve the world’s problems or anything, just comfortable flip flops that I actually am now wearing to my yoga class. Will now give them a shot to jaunts to the grocery store, etc. and determine if I’d invest in these the next time I need some flip flops.

Sandra Warren  from  Bryceville, Florida

Was this product comfortable to wear?

These sandals were very uncomfortable at first but after a week they began to feel better.

Were you sensitive to them in the beginning?

My feet were sensitive at first and couldn’t wear them for very long at a time.

Did you have more energy while wearing them?

No.

Did they provide good traction ?

Excellent traction especially around water and they stay firmly on my feet even when wet.

Did you feel like you were walking barefoot?

No.

What was your overall experience with this product?

They seem to get better every day. They aren’t as easy to slide on my feet as regular flip flops but I don’t have to grip them with my toes to keep them on my feet so that seems like it would be healthier for feet. Today I wore them as I worked for hours pressure washing my house and building a raised garden bed with cement blocks and my feet feel great and I’m not down in my back like I am sometimes after that kind of work.

Would you purchase this footwear for $49.99? Why or why not?

Yes. Before today I would have said no but after working for hours in them my feet feel better than usual.

Would you recommend this product to other FOFs?

No. Because I think a lot of people would be very unhappy with how they feel at first and might return them before giving them a chance.

2. Nuthin’ special. Additional comment: I DO have problem feet, was hoping for a solution, but the shoes are not that exceptional for my needs.

I do love them when my feet aren’t swollen. The “thongs” or “straps” are not flexible. HOWEVER… if I already submitted a review please use that one. I’ve been extremely busy since Nov. 1 and apologize if I forgot an earlier review. I am glad I have the shoes and I would not pay $49.95 for them.

Joanna Baker  from  Cleveland, Ohio

Was this product comfortable to wear?

Yes, I found them to be be very comfortable.

Were you sensitive to them in the beginning?

I guess not, because I am not sure what you mean by sensitive.

Did you have more energy while wearing them?

No, I don’t believe so.

Did they provide good traction ?

Yes, the traction was very good. My feet felt very grounded in them, not like flimsy flip flops with no support.

Did you feel like you were walking barefoot?

Almost—in my case the foot-bed of the shoe was extremely comfortable and supportive but the straps across the top of my foot were a little snug. I am thinking they will eventually give a little to become more comfortable.

What was your overall experience with this product?

I like them—and am looking forward to wearing them in warmer weather.

Would you purchase this footwear for $49.99? Why or why not?

No. I think $49.99 is too much. As stated earlier, they are a lot nicer than your average run of the mill flip flops, I’d say even better than Crocs—and those are $25 to $35. I’d say that is the price range these should be in.

Would you recommend this product to other FOFs?

Not at $50.
