Absolutely not. I perform breast reduction in patients of all ages, including 50s and 60s. Whether or not you should have an elective surgery depends on your overall health, not your age. If you are having symptoms from large breasts, the surgery will usually improve these significantly and you will be much more comfortable going foward.
Dear Mary,
Thank you for your question. It is not rediculous at all to have breast reduction at your age provided you are healthy and without significant medical issues. Chronological age in and by itself is not a reason not to have this surgery especially when it effects your day to day activities not to have it done.

No — why suffer with large heavy breasts. You can be made smaller, lifted up and more comfortable. As long as you are healthy, you can be helped.
