I am female, 51 years old. I had an umbilical hernia surgery 2 years ago. I now have an imbalance of “fat” on both sides of my belly button. Can this tissue be safely removed and leave my stomach looking more symmetrical and flat?

Its likely a minor procedure done in the office under local could take care of this… but if the problem is much bigger than I am assuming, it could require the OR.
