I am 55 years old and very active. My eye lids are so droopy that they cover my eye lashes. My eyes are so dry and tired looking even after a good nights sleep. Is this kind of procedure covered on my Aetna PPO plan?
Find a surgeon on your Aetna provider list and see him/her for more information. What you describe should be covered. And if you want to have your ducks in a row, you should see your Optometrist and have a visual field exam done. You do not want to cheat to win here… just open your eyes normally (not excessively) and hopefully, your results will confirm you claims of obscured peripheral vision.

you will need an evaluation by an ophthamalogist to determine if it can be covered.
