It makes you appear thinner, gives you an hourglass figure, the results are instant and you don’t have to diet or workout!
It’s not magic…it’s a miracle…miracle dress, that is. I am kind of a tomboy, I make my living doing construction, but love to dress up once in awhile. Then I saw these dresses, I love them!!! My favorite dress that I have is white on top, black on the bottom, and ties in the back. Cute but not as stunning as these!!!
Cleo says:
There is definately a great deal to learn about this issue.
I really like all the points you made.

I would have to say my black pencil style skirt with a pretty top.

The white t-shirt by Gap Body. It has stretch, fits like a glove and looks great under a blazer or on its own with a pair of jeans.

mary says:
Probably my Patagonia Margot dresses, 3/4 sleeve. I have them in several prints and solids, all with a wide ruched waistband and flared above-knee skirt
Patricia says:
My most flattering item is a black turtle neck sweater that fits and drapes wonderfully combined with my black skinny pants. This outfit makes me both feel and look good. Some of the “magic” dresses are wonderful, but if the lines are too severe you end up looking like a cartoon character. Subtle is much better.
Still Blonde after all these YEARS says:
I liked Suzi Chin on facebook as well as Shelley Zurek
Still Blonde after all these YEARS says:
My most flattering item of clothing are my high heel gold shoes. They make my legs longer and somehow i look thinner!
Patty says:
This style is so flattering and fits great! Would love to own/wear one as I anticipate getting loads of compliments. 🙂
Lori says:
I don’t feel any of my clothes are flattering. I wonder if this style of dress would look good on me. No store where I live sells any of these types of illusion/color block dresses, so I haven’t tried one on. I would like to see a “miracle” dress made for apple shapes.
This one also looks too short (all of my skirts and dresses reach ankles). I don’t know if it is because the woman modelling it is tall, but I would prefer a length similar to the ones that Kris Jenner, Susan Sarandon and Lisa Rinna are wearing.
imelda says:
I have a fuschia colored long sleeves Ann Taylor shirt that I wear for business, either with a black skirt or pants. It never fails…I always get compliments I guess perhaps because of its tailored tapered fit and the bright pink color. The black and mocha peplum dress in the photo above would be my pick for a flattering dress for a new look.
Melissa Fraher says:
My skinny jeans. Love to wear then with a peasant top and scarf!
Stephanie says:
There are two items that I think are the most flattering in my wardrobe: the first is a knit print dress with a shirred waist and just enough stretch to cling in all the right places, and the other is my go-to jeans that make my legs look long and actually flatter my rear view!
Aggie Pearo says:
I have several Coldwater creek skirts that are flowy and I always feel like a fairy princess in them!
K. C. Griffin says:
The most flattering piece I own is a black & off-white stripe cap sleeve CK dress. It is belted above the waist with a lovely semi-patent slim belt with silver buckle. The hemline hits my leg perfectly right above my knee. It is a delicious knit so comfortable for summer. I wear it with red leather rounded toe pumps. The only drawback is waiting ’till my tan is adequate before wearing this (or any) dress in public bare-legged. I honestly think all women should be able to own a miracle dress. Doesn’t every gal need that little perfect little go-to piece on a bad day when NOTHING LOOKS AS IT SHOULD!
Kate says:
Can’t live without a LBD in my closet! Need a new one, and a miracle dress would fit the bill perfectly.
Skye Wentworth says:
Pencil skirts look best on me. I have a deep-seated hunch that the “Miracle Dress” would send me flying to the moon. LOL.

Karen says:
I have an Anne Klein silk shift dress that I purchased on eBay for a mere pittance … had my doubts about the pattern (purple and gold on white) when I bought it, but when I put it on, wow! It’s still my favourite way to make a statement, and a pair of metallic heels sets it off perfectly.

Most flattering item: a black sleeveless dress with waist gathering on one side that fits and flatters on skinny and not-so-skinny days alike!
And I’ve liked Suzi Chin on facebook too!
Jet says:
It would have to be a McQueen dress I bought years ago that looks fab regardless of hormonal weight fluctuations. It can be über dressy or dressed down for a casual look. I always get compliments on how I look, not “what a fab dress” which to me is the mark of a really flattering outfit. In spite of the price, since I’ve had it about 3 or 4 years, and worn it so many times I couldn’t count, its price per wear is next to nothing now. It was an investment I’d do over if I was as flush as those days! I remember making a skirt similar to the “miracle dress” back in the 80s, it was so flattering on everyone who wore it, so I know a dress would be fantastic! XXX Jet

I have one pair of Ralph Lauren jeans that are very flattering but no dresses. Guess it would be a good thing for me to win this.
Donna F. says:
I own a top that has a deep v-neck to elongate my neck and help show off assets up top. I have it in three colors, white, blue and black and I vary it with so much. It draws attention up to my top and my face and away from the tummy and hips area. I am in the process of doing a style makeover, have lost 50 lbs in 16 months, and finished with the hair and skincare and make up. It would be my most heart’s desire to win one of these hourglass outstanding dresses. Does it come in a XL that is actually a 1x for us curvy girls> Thank you so very much.
Sue Bauer says:
A pant suit in a year-round-weight fabric blend, taupey-brown in color with slight texture in the weave…goes with everything…pants & jacket traditional fit, can be dressed up or down with accessories. The jacket is nipped in a bit at the waist which flatters the waistline and helps my short stature (5’2″) not appear so boxy. Jacket is great with jeans, too. I love the suit and now it is wearing out from too much wear.
omiobabbinocaro says:
I have some soft jersey cowl neck shells in cobalt and bright red. I wear them with a black skirt or slacks and a soft black cardi style type of jacket. I always get such positive feedback in wearing this combo(s) that they are the most flattering things for me.

I have a very cute dress in a stretch jersey type of material. It is black with polka dots and flowers on it in varying bright colors. I wear it with black leggings and black ballet flats as it is a tad bit short for this 50 something. It is very unique and fun and fashionable. Whenever I wear it, I get compliments. The best part is I saw it hanging on the rack at Goodwill and said I have got to have that and knew how I wanted to style it and the look I wanted to achieve. It was $5.00! No kidding. I feel very fun and fashionable when I wear it. It’s a happy dress and makes other people happy too.
zipporahs says:
I have a fabulous short black pull on skirt that’s piped in black leather that I wear with a simple grey turtleneck that makes me look 20 lbs. less than I really am. I’m sure that I over-wear it, but what the heck….a gal’s got to look her best.

I have a “ruler” body type with a thin, stick straight body, and I like to wear tights and short sweater dresses in winter. Using the “hip belts” keeps the dresses from looking frumpy and boxy, and also gives me the illusion of having a longer waist-line. The Bianca Belted Colorblock Dress by Suzi Chin for Maggy Boutique would be a dress that would definitely help my body type look more womanly!

You can dress it up with accessories or be casual, it is a dream.

My black slim leg pants by Rafaella. They are almost custom fit for the real body.
Mick says:
Hands down; I have a little black dress by Joseph Ribkoff. It accentuates the bustline, nips in at the waist and follows the curves to knee length. The ruching is the key – flatters fabulously! All the men take a second look when I pair it with my 4 inch silver studded black pumps – it’s downright fierce. Bonus – I can stuff it in a suitcase and it shakes out without a wrinkle for a night on the town.

I am in desperate need of ‘dressy’ clothes! I’m a corrections officer, so I wear a uniform most days. Therefore, I don’t shop for dressy clothes very much. Unfortunately, I have one dress to my name and the only reason I have that was to go to a funeral. I’d have to say the dressiest outfit I have is the ‘go with anything’ basic black slacks and a few nicer shirts. I’m in desperate need of something to wear to an occasion of any sort at this point!

Moat flattering outfit I have is a handpainted silk ao dai (the classic Vietnamese flowing tunic, that is slit up both sides and worn over slim slacks) that my husband had made for me in Vietnam during our honeymoon in 2008. It took 2 weeks to make, they did 3 fittings, and it is THE most perfectly fitting, flattering, and beautiful garment I own!
(BTW: IMHO- and that of my US Army Ret., 3.5-tours in Vietnam, husband), Jane Fonda should not be promoted in any way shape or form, ESPECIALLY to FOFs who know all too well what a murderous piece of human garbage she is. She is an “icon” all right- an icon of death, responsible for the death of American servicemen. PLEASE let her disappear into the dustbin of history where she so rightly belongs).

I have a top (that I’ve desperately tried to buy more of) but it’s V-neck, loose and flowy and the back goes just below my “butt” but the sides on much lower! It is the most flattering look…not expensive to make, I’ve called the manufacturer who no longer exists…

Beth Mushet says:
I also enjoy scooped-neck t-shirts instead of v-neck.
Also, I wish I could find sleeveless dresses that are cut closer to the neckline. It flatters your arms as opposed to
