Don’t wait for pollen, and sneezes, to fill the air. Give relief to allergy sufferers with one of the superb over-the-counter formulas available for most every type of problem, including the CVS Health Fluticasone Spray, a new OTC allergy product. As for tissues, you can never have enough. It’s always nice to be able to grab a tissue wherever you are in the house. Stock up on portable packets, too.

Did you know that rubbing alcohol is a marvelous disinfectant for phone receivers, works beautifully on venetian blinds, and can be sprayed on pesky fruit flies? So inexpensive and so effective!

Warmer weather may bring out beautiful, blooming flowers, but it also signals the start of the parade of pests, including spiders, mosquitos, ants, bees and ticks, as well as pantry insects, such as Indian meal moths. You can help keep them away by keeping the kitchen free of crumbs, leftover food, and trash, as well as sealing inside and outside cracks. Make sure everyone also is well protected from bites and stings with proper repellants, especially since some of these bites can be toxic.

I’m also a member of ExtraCare, the Pharmacy and Health Care, and the Beauty Club programs. I save a whole lot of $$ each time I go there, by using manufacture’s and CVS coupons. It’s true that sometimes their prices are high if the product isn’t on sale. But, by using coupons on sale items, and my Extra Bucks Reward Dollars, I’ve saved up to 60%! Oh yeah, I also get CVS coupons online and in the mail for %s of my entire purchase!

That’s odd you praise CVS, Jeri. Every single time I go into my local CVS, they rip me off one way or another…

      Hi Cathy,

It’s not odd considering my experience. Also see what Diane Popper says.

      Best, Geri
