As far as eating goes, try Skipjack’s for the best seafood. Fresh, creative and fun. If you have time try and get to the Isabella Gardner Museum, it has beautiful gardens plus amazing art. Enjoy your time.

Another idea, consider taking a sunset cruise on Boston Harbor. It is a great way to see the city from a unique angle. I think you can easily book one ahead of time for not too much money or wait and come to Rose Wharf and book one if the night seems right!

You are coming at a wonderful time of the year. The weather will be warm, yet not too hot to be able to walk around and thoroughly enjoy the city. Boston is a walking city so bring some comfortable walking shoes. You initially asked where to eat ? There are distinct ethnic areas – the North End offers incredible Italian food. You can’t go wrong with any of the restaurants on Hanover Street. Don’t eat desert at the restaurant, instead make your way to Mike’s Pastry shop where you will be tempted with the most incredible offerings. Hint, when standing in line to get into the shop steer to the left for faster service. You can also poke around Chinatown and enjoy some Bubble Tea. Fanueil Hall Market is a unique area to shop and eat. It is always buzzing that time of year. Walk down Newbury Street (dubbed the Rodeo Drive of Boston) and enjoy the various designer shops. Go to Copley Square and then cross over to the Prudential Shops. You can also catch a Duck Tour while in the area and get an incredibly unique tour of Boston both by land and by water. Walking the Freedom Trail is a truly special experience. While in the Boston Gardens, take a Swan Boat ride with or without young children. Behind the State House is an area called Louisburg Square which will give you a flavor of old Boston architecture. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to be in town when the Boston Symphony Orchestra is playing a free outdoor concert on the Esplanade, be sure to pack a picnic basket and blanket. Spread out your blanket and ENJOY !! It is a rare treat indeed. I hope that I gave you some suggestions as to what to do while in Boston. We have some incredible museums, and a fabulous aquarium. There are so many things to occupy your time, and I am sure that I just touched on a few possibilities. If you need more specific suggestions, please feel free to contact me.

There are so many places to see while in Boston. If you have a car, I would give you some suggestions that are an easy day trip from Boston. If you are concentrating on Boston primarily, let me know and I will compile a list. Shopping, museums, ball games, etc.

I will be mostly in Boston…we may have a car, but primarily love museums and galleries. The shopping will include setting up my friend’s son in his new apartment. Some furniture, dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. His ex took all that stuff, and had always done it for him. Any help will be appreciated, and as gurus, we love bargains!!
