I was recently told that a side effect of photofacials is that it minimizes fine hair on the face, however I’ve not tried it. Check with a dermatologist about this procedure and see what the experts say. The person who told me this was a professional esthetician, but not a physician, so….I’d check with the doctor to be sure of all the facts. Good luck!

Laser treatments for upper lip hair and lower facial hair. threading for eyebrows versus waxing. but you must go to a really reputable place for lasers; a cosmetic dermatologist is best. Plastic surgeons do lasers too. where do you live?

I was told that my light hair would make laser ineffective. I had always thought it would be the answer until I went to a very reputable plastic surgeon, which was about a year ago. Is there new equipment now that might work better?
      I’m in the Chicago area.
      Thanks

That’s interesting, because every derm or specialist I’ve talked with says the lighter skin the lasers work best. You can’t be tan or have dark skin to get the best results.

It’s the hair color that is more the issue I think. I have gray hair(under the highlights and color of course! ). Has anyone used laser with light skin and light hair?
