This is a very popular question. One of the big misconceptions is that all women with larger breasts HAVE TO wear underwire bras. That is not true and from a more scientific/construction standpoint, underwires may actually cause more harm than support by putting far too much pressure on the shoulder straps. What we large busted gals need MAKE SURE to do is wear bras with excellent side panels that are made of strong supportive material that stretches but maintains shape. If you love underwire, wear them, but don’t underestimate the importance of the side panels for shape and support.
If you are looking for comfort, support and exceptional quality, I don’t think you can beat Wacoal bras. They are pricey though. Get a good fit–don’t just grab the size you have always worn–have one of the trained bra experts get you into the right size. You might be surprised by what they come up with but the right fit helps to eliminate ugly back bulge, and the dreaded spillage that we well endowed ladies often experience. Once you have your size, go online and search out websites that cater to larger sizes–you can often get better deals than in the retail stores. Le Mystere bras are an Oprah fave–you may wat to check them out because who can argue with the big O!
