Somebody put me out of my misery, and let me know what you have found that actually helps with the hot flashes, other than throwing your clothes on the floor and diving into a cool tub.

    Layer your clothes so you can take off layers as it hits. Get a fan and take it with you (I have one at my work station)
    Drink lots of water. Run cool water over your wrists and put a cloth on the back of your neck that is cold or an ice pack.
    Eat soy foods, they help more than you will believe!
    VENT, with a friend, us here, your mom, whatever- talk about it; laugh about it. It will pass and it really can be a connector for women to share!
