    Meat, bones and fatty foods not only attract rats but aren’t good for the composing because it can inhibit the composting process. Chemically treated wood isn’t good to compost because it usually has arsenic in it and you don’t want that poison to be the basis for your plant mulch. Diseased plants or weeds aren’t good to compost because their diseases may outlast the composting process and then you will spread them to your other plants. Pet or people manure isn’t good to add to the composing process because they or we may have diseases that wouldn’t be good to add to your vegetable garden.
    PS superdumb? There is no such thing especially when asking questions like this. It helps to educate us all.
