Are you sure you don’t me DioLite?
This is a laser that has a 532 nm wavelength that is perfect for the red and black colours found in veins. It is very effective for facial and other small veins but not really useful for larger reticular (the blue-green ones) or tortuous varicose veins. I like to treat small spider veins with sclerotherapy, facial veins with lasers and the larger varicose veins are well treated with internal probes and use lasers as well. Vein striping is no longer the treatment of choice for those veins.

For spider veins, we use the newest injectable Asclera which is polidocanol. It just got FDA approval in the United States , it is safe and very effective. I inject the vein using small needle (the size of a pin). Don’t plan to exercise right after the treatment. Results take about 6 weeks. Large veins usually require treatment by a vascular surgeon.

Sorry, I have never used that, and haven’t heard any information on it.
